Why This Role Exists
We are not looking for a "content producer" to fill a blog with words. We need a Growth Operator who views content as a scalable acquisition channel.
This role is designed to provide Founder and Marketing Leverage by owning the entire lifecycle of organic authority. You won’t just be writing articles; you will be architecting a library of high-intent assets that capture search traffic and convert it into revenue. In this role, you bridge the gap between creative storytelling and technical SEO, ensuring that every word published serves a strategic purpose in our growth engine.
What You’ll Be Responsible For (Outcomes)
Research and execute comprehensive pillar pages and "evergreen" guides that establish us as the definitive voice in our space.
Write and optimize page copy that satisfies both the Google algorithm and human psychology, maintaining a delicate balance between SEO density and high-velocity CTAs.
Produce in-depth, long-form assets (1,500+ words) designed to rank for high-difficulty keywords by solving for user intent better than any competitor on page one.
Own the "freshness" of our digital library. You will proactively audit, rewrite, and re-optimize existing content to defend rankings and improve click-through rates (CTR).
Execute flawless on-page SEO—from semantic keyword integration and internal linking structures to meta-data and schema—ensuring 100% crawlability and relevance.
Requirements
What You’ve Done Before
You have a portfolio of content that currently ranks in the top 3 positions for competitive, high-intent keywords.
You are a power user of Ahrefs, SEMrush, SurferSEO, or similar tools, using them to find "content gaps" that competitors have missed.
You have experience translating complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive prose for sophisticated professional audiences.
You’ve managed content calendars where success was measured by organic traffic growth and lead conversion, not just "word count."
Who You Are
You don’t need a brief to tell you what to write. You dig into the data, identify what the market is searching for, and build the solution.
You understand that modern SEO is about Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness. You write for humans first, knowing that’s what Google rewards.
You understand the "why" behind site architecture and how content affects the broader technical health of a domain.
You thrive in high-growth environments where speed of execution and quality of output are equally weighted.
Who This Is NOT For
The "Generalist" Blogger: If your experience is primarily in lifestyle writing or high-volume, low-quality "content farms," this isn't the right fit.
The AI-Only Writer: We value efficiency, but if your process is "prompt and publish" without deep original research and strategic layering, you won't meet our standards.
The Task-Taker: If you need a manager to assign you every topic and keyword, you will find our pace challenging.
What Success Looks Like
Month 1: Comprehensive audit of existing top-performing content; identification of 5 "low-hanging fruit" keywords; first 2 high-intent pillar posts published.
Month 3: Measurable upward trend in organic impressions and "Position 1-3" keyword rankings; landing page conversion rates stabilized through A/B testing.
Month 6: The organic channel is a predictable lead-generation machine, with a compounding library of assets that allow the leadership team to scale back on paid spend.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Organic Traffic Growth: Month-over-month increase in targeted search traffic.
Keyword Velocity: Number of target keywords moving into the Top 10.
Conversion Rate: Percentage of readers moving from blog/guide to a lead action.
Content Freshness Score: 100% of "Core" assets updated within the last 6 months.
Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:
Internet Connection:
Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.
Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps.
Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.
