Heya,
We are Ascendily, an e-commerce SEO agency that helps our clients rank their products higher in Google and bring in more customers.
We are currently looking for a part-time editor (20 hours per week), but this role is expected to grow to full-time within the next few months (i.e, 40 hours per week). When you move to full-time, your salary will increase to a full-time salary, obviously.
Consider the first few months as a "warm up" period before your job becomes much busier.
Specs:
Salary Range: $450-$500 per month (part-time), expected to grow to $800-$900 per month (full-time).
Hours per week: ~20 (part-time)/~40(full-time)
Location: Remote
Hours: Flexible, you should generally be available when the team is available which is usually Asian hours.
Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Edit content to ensure it meets our standards
- Enforce our quality guidelines
- Provide feedback to our writing team
- Keep track of writer's performance
- Understand SEO optimization, such as using tools like NeuronWriter or SurferSEO
- At times, we may need you to help outline content, write, or perform other SEO/content-related tasks. This will be on an ad hoc basis, but it will fit into your weekly allotted hours
- Be in contact with our team via Slack

Qualifications
You must:
- Speak and write as close to a native speaker as possible
- Must understand SEO on-page basics
- Be able to give firm yet polite feedback
- Ruthlessly enforce quality standards, almost to a fault. We want someone who will be obsessed with correcting errors and take pride in keeping our content at a "best-in-industry" standard
