JOB OVERVIEW

We're Comfort Keepers, a trusted in-home senior care brand in New Jersey. We run four local websites and need a sharp, reliable SEO operator to help us win in both Google and AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews).
The role in plain English: The strategy and playbook already exist. We need someone who can execute it week in, week out — no hand-holding, no drama, good English, and a quality bar that doesn't slip.
What you'll do:

Update WordPress pages — meta titles, descriptions, H1/H2s, internal links
Implement schema markup (LocalBusiness, FAQ, Service, Review) in JSON-LD
Build and optimize service-area and city pages
Post to Google Business Profile weekly across four locations
Track rankings in Ahrefs and Local Falcon; surface wins and problems
Monitor Google Search Console for keyword opportunities and indexing issues
Create Canva graphics from provided briefs
Draft outreach emails to referral partners (elder law attorneys, senior centers, VA reps)
Keep a content calendar and send a short weekly report

Must have:

2+ years doing local SEO for US-based service businesses (home services, healthcare, legal, etc.)
WordPress fluency — editing pages, Yoast or Rank Math, adding schema
Hands-on experience with Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile
Excellent written English — you'll be writing meta descriptions, GBP posts, and partner emails
Working understanding of E-E-A-T and AI search optimization (AIO / GEO)
Canva for social graphics

Nice to have:

JSON-LD schema implementation experience
Experience writing for healthcare, senior care, or home services
Local Falcon familiarity
Light HTML/CSS

Hours & rate: ~20 hours/week to start, flexible schedule. 2–3 hours of overlap with US Eastern Time preferred (morning PH time). Rate: competitive — tell us what you charge.
