# Part-Time Technical SEO Engineer

**Compensation:** Starting at **$450/month (Part-Time)**

We're looking for an experienced **Technical SEO Engineer** to join our team.

This is **not** an entry-level SEO role.

If your experience is mainly keyword research, blog writing, or using SEO plugins, **please don't apply.** We're looking for someone with strong technical SEO knowledge who can confidently implement complex SEO improvements on a modern web application.

## About Us

We're building a rapidly growing online portal with thousands of users and an expanding inventory of dynamic pages. Our platform includes interactive maps, location-based content, structured data, user-generated content, AI-powered search features, and thousands of pages that need to be crawled, indexed, and optimized correctly.

As our platform continues to scale, technical SEO has become one of our highest priorities.

## Your Role

You will **not** be responsible for auditing the website or figuring out what needs to be fixed.

We already have an experienced SEO strategist who continuously audits the platform and provides a detailed list of technical SEO tasks. Your job is to implement those tasks efficiently and correctly.

Examples of tasks include:

* Fixing indexing issues
* Resolving crawl errors
* Implementing structured data ( ---------- / JSON-LD)
* Improving internal linking
* Optimizing XML sitemaps
* Managing robots.txt
* Fixing canonical tags
* Optimizing metadata
* Improving Core Web Vitals
* Page speed optimization
* JavaScript SEO improvements
* Other technical SEO implementations

## Requirements

You should have experience with:

* Technical SEO
* HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Modern web frameworks (Next.js is a big plus)
* Google Search Console
* Google Analytics
* XML Sitemaps
* robots.txt
* Canonical tags
* Structured Data ( ---------- / JSON-LD)
* Core Web Vitals
* PageSpeed optimization
* Crawl optimization
* Indexing troubleshooting
* Large-scale website architecture

You should understand concepts such as:

* Crawl budget
* Rendering issues
* JavaScript SEO
* Server-side rendering (SSR) vs. client-side rendering (CSR)
* Duplicate content
* Dynamic routes
* Pagination
* Search engine crawling and indexing

## Long-Term Opportunity
