JOB OVERVIEW

# SENIOR YOUTUBE VIDEO EDITOR & CONTENT PRODUCER

Full-Time | Remote | Philippines

## ABOUT THE COMPANY

Beauty Seek is a growing beauty education platform producing expert interviews about aesthetic procedures, beauty products, wellness and informed consumer decision-making.

We are looking for an experienced, highly dependable Video Editor and Content Producer who can take ownership of the complete post-production process—from correcting the original interview footage through creating and publishing long-form videos, episodes, Shorts, thumbnails, commercials and extended sleep-sound videos.

This is a long-term, full-time position. Excellent written and spoken English is required.

## THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS POSITION

The first responsibility is ensuring that the recorded interview footage looks and sounds professional.

Every other deliverable depends on getting the master footage right.

The editor must independently identify and correct:

* Uneven, quiet, distorted or popping audio.
* Background noise, room echo and inconsistent volume.
* Abrupt noise-gate effects at the beginning of speech.
* Audio and video synchronization problems.
* Poor exposure, inconsistent color and distracting skin tones.
* Framing, cropping, eye-line and speaker-layout problems.
* Unnecessary pauses, repeated answers and weak transitions.
* Visual or audio inconsistencies between separate recording tracks.

The editor must listen to and visually inspect the complete exported video before submitting it. A successful candidate does not rely only on automated tools or wait for someone else to find basic errors.

# PRODUCTION PROCESS

## STAGE 1 — INGEST, IMAGE CORRECTION AND AUDIO CORRECTION

* Download separate Riverside video and audio tracks.
* Confirm that all source files are complete and synchronized.
* Select the best-quality source tracks.
* Clean and balance each speaker’s audio.
* Correct popping, clipping, echo, background noise and inconsistent levels.
* Correct exposure, color, framing and speaker layouts.
* Confirm that the corrected master footage is ready before creating derivative content.
* Escalate corrupted or missing source footage immediately.
* Organize source files and corrected masters in Google Drive.

## STAGE 2 — LONG-FORM INTERVIEW EDITING

* Produce the complete expert interview.
* Follow the approved script and Production Grid.
* Remove unnecessary pauses, repetition and unusable sections.
* Add strong opening hooks and maintain viewer attention.
* Add branded introductions, lower thirds, captions, graphics and transitions.
* Add appropriate B-roll and supporting visual material.
* Protect the accuracy of medical and technical terminology.
* Create a polished, natural interview—not an over-edited social video.
* Prepare the completed video for private YouTube review.

## STAGE 3 — EPISODES AND SHORT-FORM CONTENT

From each complete interview:

* Produce three focused YouTube episodes.
* Identify strong educational and attention-holding moments.
* Produce approximately 6–12 vertical Shorts/Reels.
* Add readable persistent titles, captions and branding.
* Format content correctly for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.
* Create promotional clips and commercials when assigned.
* Use OpusClip and human editorial judgment to select and refine clips.
* Ensure that automated clips are accurate, properly framed and understandable without additional context.

## STAGE 4 — THUMBNAILS AND VISUAL ASSETS

* Develop three distinct thumbnail concepts for each priority video.
* Select expressive, high-quality interview frames.
* Generate or edit supporting images when appropriate.
* Create readable thumbnail text that works on mobile.
* Avoid images that look artificial, distorted or obviously AI-generated.
* Follow Beauty Seek’s visual standards.
* Revise thumbnails based on feedback and YouTube click-through performance.
* Upload approved thumbnail assets into the correct production folders.

## STAGE 5 — YOUTUBE PACKAGING AND UPLOAD

* Upload completed videos to private YouTube for review.
* Upload the final approved versions.
* Add approved titles, descriptions and captions.
* Add chapters when required.
* Add end screens and cards.
* Connect Shorts and episodes to the correct complete interview.
* Add the appropriate recommended video.
* Verify thumbnails, links, tags, playlists and publishing settings.
* Check how every published asset appears on mobile.

## STAGE 6 — SOCIAL PUBLISHING

* Create and refine clips through OpusClip.
* Use OpusClip to schedule or publish approved videos to the designated social channels, including Instagram.
* Confirm that captions, covers, titles, tags and formatting transferred correctly.
* Confirm that every scheduled post appears on the correct account.
* Keep the production and publishing status updated.

## STAGE 7 — BEAUTY SLEEP AND EXTENDED VIDEO PRODUCTION

* Produce Beauty Sleep videos using rain, ocean, nature, fire and other approved sounds.
* Layer and balance multiple audio tracks so loops are natural and not repetitive.
* Create extended videos up to nine hours long.
* Create slow, calming visual sequences without obvious looping or abrupt changes.
* Produce and export the correct YouTube format.
* Create the accompanying thumbnail.
* Upload the completed video to YouTube.
* Verify the entire audio track for gaps, clipping, volume changes or failed loops.
* Have the equipment and technical knowledge to render nine-hour videos reliably.

## STAGE 8 — QUALITY CONTROL

Before anything is submitted, the editor must check:

* Audio clarity and consistency.
* Image quality, exposure and color.
* Spelling and grammar.
* Names and professional titles.
* Medical and technical terminology.
* Captions and on-screen text.
* Mobile readability.
* Correct aspect ratio and resolution.
* Logos, graphics and brand consistency.
* Smooth cuts and transitions.
* Thumbnail accuracy.
* YouTube links, end screens and recommended videos.
* Social handles and contact information.
* Final runtime and export integrity.

## REQUIRED PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE

### Source-footage correction

* Demonstrated experience correcting interview audio and video.
* Strong audio-cleanup skills.
* Strong color-correction and speaker-framing skills.
* Ability to work with separately recorded speaker tracks.

### Long-form production

* Demonstrated experience editing talking-head, interview or podcast-style YouTube videos.
* Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, hooks and viewer retention.
* Ability to manage videos exceeding 60 minutes.
* Ability to produce and reliably render videos lasting up to nine hours.

### Short-form production

* Experience converting long interviews into effective Shorts and Reels.
* Understanding of vertical framing, captions, mobile-safe text and opening hooks.
* Ability to distinguish a genuinely valuable clip from an automatically generated but contextless clip.

### Thumbnail production

* Experience designing YouTube thumbnails.
* Understanding of mobile readability and click-through behavior.
* Ability to use interview frames, typography and generated imagery without making the result look artificial.

### Publishing and channel management

* Experience with YouTube Studio.
* Experience uploading privately, publishing, adding thumbnails, captions, chapters, playlists, cards and end screens.
* Experience scheduling or publishing content to Instagram and other social channels.
* Experience with OpusClip or a comparable clipping and social-distribution platform.

## REQUIRED SOFTWARE AND AI CAPABILITIES

The candidate should have strong experience with most of the following:

* Adobe Premiere Pro.
* Adobe Media Encoder.
* Adobe Audition or comparable professional audio-cleanup software.
* Riverside.
* OpusClip.
* CapCut for selected short-form effects or filters.
* YouTube Studio.
* Google Drive and Google Sheets.
* ChatGPT or Claude for transcript review, clip identification and workflow support.
* Replicate or similar AI image and video-generation platforms.
* HeyGen or comparable AI-video tools.

AI must be used to improve speed and production—not to replace careful listening, visual inspection, editorial judgment or quality control.

## COMPUTER AND INTERNET REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have:

* A professional editing computer capable of handling long-form HD footage.
* Sufficient RAM, storage and GPU performance for extended exports.
* The ability to render nine-hour videos without preventing all other work.
* Experience using Adobe Media Encoder or another background-rendering workflow.
* Fast, stable internet for downloading and uploading large source and finished files.
* Reliable local storage and backup practices.

Adobe Media Encoder allows long exports to run in the background while the editor continues working in Premiere.

Applicants must include their computer specifications, internet speed and the approximate time required to export a one-hour 1080p video.

## EXPECTED WEEKLY OUTPUT

Initial minimum:

* One complete long-form interview.
* Three focused YouTube episodes.
* Approximately 6–12 Shorts/Reels.
* Three thumbnail concepts per priority video.
* Related promotional clips and commercials.
* Complete YouTube packaging and uploads.

The production goal is to scale toward two complete interview packages per week while maintaining quality.

## PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Success in the first 90 days means:

* Deliverables arrive on the agreed schedule.
* Fewer than 10% of projects require more than one revision round.
* Basic audio, image, spelling or publishing errors are caught before submission.
* Long-form videos are rendered without unnecessary production delays.
* Thumbnails and opening sections improve based on performance data.
* Production status is updated consistently.
* The editor communicates early when a deadline or source-file problem is at risk.

Comparable OnlineJobs.ph postings commonly emphasize both long- and short-form production, thumbnail design, English proficiency, AI tools, retention, file organization and one-revision quality standards.

## HOW TO APPLY

Please provide:

1. A short introduction explaining your relevant experience.
2. Two examples of long-form interview or podcast editing.
3. Three examples of Shorts or Reels created from long-form footage.
4. Three YouTube thumbnail examples.
5. One example showing difficult audio you improved.
6. The editing and AI tools you use.
7. Your computer specifications.
8. Your internet upload and download speeds.
9. Your expected monthly salary in U.S. dollars.
