Help Turn a System Already Being Built Into a Secure, Working Operation
We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Systems Engineer who can help bring structure, security, and operational readiness to a system that is already under development.
You will not be starting alone or expected to build the entire platform yourself. An existing technical and AI engineering team is already working on the system.
Your role is to help connect business requirements with technical implementation—making sure access is properly controlled, information is protected, workflows make sense, users and clients remain appropriately separated, and the solution can be safely tested and moved into live operation.
The Challenge
Think of the role this way:
The business knows what it needs.
The engineering team is building.
You help make sure the overall solution is secure, properly structured, tested, documented, and ready to operate.
You should be comfortable asking and solving questions such as:
Who should have access to what?
How should users be verified?
What should require approval?
How do we prevent people from seeing information they should not see?
How do we keep different organizations or clients separated?
How do we track access and activity?
How should access be reviewed or removed?
How do we test that the whole workflow works securely from beginning to end?
The first operational channel will be
What You’ll Do
Understand business requirements, users, information flows, authority boundaries, integrations, and risks.
Work with existing developers, AI engineers, administrators, and business stakeholders.
Help design the end-to-end access, approval, routing, audit, and escalation structure.
Guide and support implementation of the initial Microsoft 365/email workflow.
Configure or oversee identity, MFA, role-based access, and least-privilege controls.
Ensure organizations, clients, users, permissions, and information remain appropriately separated.
Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements and acceptance tests.
Review how the different parts of the solution work together.
Coordinate end-to-end testing and identify security or workflow gaps.
Support a controlled live pilot.
Ensure material issues are corrected before full operational handover.
Create or complete architecture documentation, SOPs, runbooks, user guidance, and access records.
Help transition the solution into sustainable ongoing operation.
Who We’re Looking For
We care more about what you have actually done than your current job title.
What Matters Most
You should be able to demonstrate real experience with several of the following:
Microsoft 365 administration and security
Identity and access management (IAM)
Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Role-based access control (RBAC)
Least-privilege security
User and permission management
Secure workflow and system design

Supporting systems from development through production
What We Value
Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving skills
Practical experience securing and operationalizing real systems
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Strong attention to detail
Clear technical documentation and communication
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Comfortable collaborating with an existing technical/AI engineering team
A hands-on mindset—you are comfortable reviewing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and improving systems
