We’re a fast-growing roofing and restoration company specializing in insurance claims. Our volume is increasing, and we’re looking for a proven Insurance Supplement Specialist who knows how to get supplements written, justified, submitted, and PAID.

Position Summary

The Roofing Insurance Supplement Claim Specialist is responsible for reviewing estimates, identifying missed line items, writing accurate supplements in Xactimate, and negotiating approvals with insurance carriers. Your success is measured by approved dollars, turnaround time, and claim win rate.

Key Responsibilities

Review insurance estimates for roofing & exterior claims

Identify missed scope, code upgrades, and pricing discrepancies

Write detailed supplements in Xactimate (required)

Submit supplements with proper documentation (photos, code references, invoices)

Communicate directly with adjusters and desk reviewers

Follow up consistently until supplements are approved and paid

Maintain accurate claim notes and documentation in CRM

Work closely with production and management to close files cleanly

Required Experience & Skills

This is NOT an entry-level role.

2+ years writing insurance supplements (roofing/restoration)

Strong Xactimate proficiency (mandatory)

Proven track record of getting supplements approved

Deep understanding of roofing systems, code upgrades, and O&P

Knowledge of carrier guidelines and supplement negotiation tactics

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and persistent

Ability to manage multiple claims without dropping the ball

Preferred (Nice to Have)

Experience with JobNimbus, AccuLynx, or similar CRM

Familiarity with CT / Northeast carrier trends (if applicable)

Prior adjuster or restoration estimator background
