This position requires the use of Revit. We will train the right candidates if you do not know Revit. (Conditions apply)

We do mostly residential and some commercial work.
The work will be creation of permit documents/ construction drawings.
Candidates who are good at this work we want to grow with our company and if interested we need a few select to lead and train others to perform the work we need done.
If you are technically inclined and enjoy doing a good amount of technical work too you may be a good fit. Remember that design is just 10 to 20% of the work we do as architects. If you are a well-rounded architect your design ability will compliment you well. But you will spend more of your time on technical drawings. If this does not sound like a good fit, you need not apply. (if not a good fit please don’t apply for this position)
Will train you in using Revit to the candidates we feel are a good fit. Conditions apply.
Will help provide the Revit software needed to perform the drafting/ design work. Conditions apply.
We seek individuals who are reliable, can get things done, can communicate often when desired or needed, can follow instructions, Can identify the most important things that need to be done as opposed to spending time on those things that are less important.
To begin work with us we will start with a test project on an hourly basis. If we like your work and you like the work we do we will expand the number of hours given to you.
Submit to us the following:
1. A description of your work experience.
2. Work samples. Include specific detail on what you did yourself, as opposed to what was done as a team. (We want to know what YOU can do.)
3. A description of your experience using Revit. (Can you?):
a. Can you Create floor plans
b. Can you Add dimensions
c. Can you Setup project and true north.
d. Can you add keynotes
e. Can you Setup scope boxes
f. Can Build 3d models
g. Do you know what a shared parameter is? If yes, how have you used them?
h.. Can create families. (if yes, what families have you made? Have you made nested families?)
4. possible test project start dates.
