Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) are required.
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Revenue and GL Accountant to manage day-to-day revenue accounting operations, ensure accurate and complete general ledger records, and support month-end close processes. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance with GAAP and ASC 606, partnering closely with auditors and cross-functional teams, and continuously improving accounting workflows.

Key Responsibilities
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for revenue, cost of revenue, deferred revenue, deferred cost, and related accounts, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance
Support monthly close activities by preparing, reviewing, and posting accurate journal entries
Review and verify accuracy of account balances and classifications
Analyze changes in income statement and balance sheet accounts; recommend corrections when appropriate
Design, refine, and optimize monthly close procedures to improve timeliness and accuracy
Prepare quarterly and annual revenue-related disclosures
Assist with technical accounting memos and analyses addressing ASC 606 requirements
Work closely with external auditors and ensure compliance with revenue recognition rules
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps, solve issues, and improve workflows
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong understanding of GAAP and hands-on experience applying ASC 606 (must)
Minimum of 4 years of related accounting experience
Big 4 public accounting experience is a plus
CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
Experience with NetSuite or another large ERP system (required)
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Strong teamwork skills; works well with others
Energetic, detail-oriented, and consistently positive attitude
