Role Description: Revenue Operations and Billing Operations Manager
This is a full time, remote role based in the Philippines, focused on owning and executing core revenue operations, billing operations, and sales deal desk functions.
In this role, you are responsible for ensuring accuracy, consistency, and efficiency across subscription setup, billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and revenue reporting. You will serve as a critical operational partner to Sales, Customer Experience, Account Management, and Finance by ensuring that deals are structured correctly, clients are activated smoothly, invoices are accurate, and revenue data is reliable.
This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working across multiple systems, and the ability to balance operational execution with cross functional collaboration in a fast paced software environment.
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes
Billing Operations and Accounts Receivable
Chargebee Ownership: Serve as the primary owner of the Chargebee billing platform, managing subscriptions, invoices, amendments, credits, cancellations, and renewals.

Invoicing and Collections: Generate and manage invoices for subscriptions and professional services, track outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue payments in coordination with internal teams.

Billing Inbox Management: Own and manage the accounts receivable and billing inbox within HubSpot, responding to client billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Payment Accuracy: Ensure accurate billing for all contracted services, add ons, usage based charges, and one time fees.
Revenue Reporting and Reconciliation
Monthly Revenue Reporting: Prepare and maintain monthly revenue reports, ensuring alignment between Chargebee, HubSpot, and internal financial records.

Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of invoices, payments, credits, and adjustments to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Data Integrity: Maintain clean and accurate billing and revenue data to support leadership reporting and forecasting.
Sales Deal Desk and Subscription Setup
Deal Review and Setup: Partner with Sales and Account Management to review closed deals, ensuring pricing, terms, discounts, and billing schedules are structured correctly prior to activation.

Subscription Configuration: Accurately configure subscriptions and services to ensure clients can be activated, invoiced, and supported without delay.

Process Enforcement: Act as a gatekeeper for deal accuracy, flagging inconsistencies or risks and working with stakeholders to resolve them before billing begins.
Cross Functional Collaboration and Process Improvement
Internal Partnership: Work closely with Sales, Customer Experience, Account Management, and Finance to support renewals, upgrades, downgrades, and service changes.

Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve billing, deal desk, and revenue operations workflows to reduce errors and increase efficiency.

Documentation: Maintain clear documentation and standard operating procedures related to billing, revenue operations, and deal desk processes.

Revenue and Billing Operations Experience: You have hands-on experience in revenue operations, billing operations, finance operations, or deal desk roles within a software or technology company.

Systems Oriented: You are comfortable working across multiple systems and understand how data flows between billing platforms, CRMs, and reporting tools.
Accuracy and Accountability: You take pride in precise work, double checking details, and owning outcomes end to end.

Cross Functional Communication: You communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders and clients, especially when resolving billing questions or discrepancies.

Problem Solving Mindset: You proactively identify issues, investigate root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in revenue operations, billing operations, finance operations, or sales operations within a software or technology environment.

Location: Must be permanently based in the Philippines.

Schedule: Availability to work 40 hours per week with flexibility to support global teams and billing cycles. Must be available to work East Coast USA hours.

Tools: Direct experience with Chargebee is strongly preferred. Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms is required.

Bonus: Experience supporting subscription based pricing models, professional services billing, and recurring revenue reporting.
