JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Restaurant Accountant to help manage the accounting and financial records of our restaurant business.

The ideal applicant must know how to use Xero and MYOB. A CPA qualification is preferred, but we are also open to applicants with strong and proven accounting experience.

Main Tasks:

* Manage daily sales, expenses, invoices, and receipts
* Reconcile bank transactions
* Prepare profit and loss reports
* Track supplier payments, bills, and outstanding balances
* Monitor payroll-related records
* Organize financial documents and accounting reports
* Assist with budgeting and cash flow tracking
* Provide regular financial updates to management
* Ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date

Requirements:

* Must know how to use Xero
* Must know how to use MYOB
* CPA qualification is preferred, or must have strong accounting experience
* Restaurant, hospitality, or food business accounting experience is an advantage
* Australian business/accounting experience is preferred
* Strong attention to detail
* Honest, reliable, and organized
* Good communication skills
* Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Work Setup:

* Remote
* Part-time or full-time, depending on experience
