Job Title: Remote Wix Website Builder & SEO/SEM Specialist (Part-Time Contractor)
Location: 100% Remote (Philippines-based applicants preferred)

Job Type: Independent Contractor (Hourly billing via PayPal, Wise, or similar)
Schedule: 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday (approximately 25 hours per week)
Must overlap with US Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours (e.g., 8 AM – 5 PM PST for collaboration; night shift in PH time ideal, as 10 AM PH = 6 PM previous day PST).
Compensation: $6–$10 USD per hour (based on experience and certifications; typical for experienced PH-based talent in this role). Paid weekly or bi-weekly. Negotiable for top candidates with proven results in driving global inquiries.
About the Role
FMS is a dynamic California company dedicated to leading the market in global product inquiries. We're seeking a skilled, certified Wix specialist with expertise in SEO and search engine marketing (SEM) to build, optimize, and maintain our websites remotely on a part-time basis. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing our online visibility, attracting international traffic, and positioning FMS as the top choice for product inquiries worldwide. This role may expand if performance excels.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and customize responsive websites using Wix platform, ensuring user-friendly navigation, mobile optimization, and integration of e-commerce or inquiry forms.
Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search rankings, including keyword research, content optimization, meta tags, alt text, and site speed enhancements.
Manage SEM campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, paid search) to drive targeted global traffic and product inquiries, including ad creation, bidding, A/B testing, and performance tracking.
Analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to identify opportunities for increasing inquiries from diverse global markets.
Perform regular site audits, updates, and maintenance to ensure SEO/SEM best practices are applied for maximum visibility and conversion.
Collaborate remotely with the team (via Slack, Zoom,
Focus on strategies that attract international audiences, such as multilingual SEO elements or region-specific targeting to make FMS #1 in product inquiries.
Requirements
3+ years of experience building and managing websites on Wix, with a portfolio of live sites demonstrating SEO/SEM integration.
Proven track record in driving traffic and inquiries through SEO and paid search for global audiences.
Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, digital marketing trends, and tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for professional reports and team interactions.
Reliable high-speed internet, quiet workspace, and flexibility for PST hours.
Ability to work independently as a remote contractor.
Required Certifications/Training
To ensure high-quality, professional work aligned with industry standards:
Wix-Specific: Wix Certified (e.g., Wix Partner Certification, Wix Web Designer Certification, or completion of Wix's official training courses on website building and SEO via Wix Learn).
SEO: Google Analytics Certification (Google Skillshop), SEMrush SEO Fundamentals Certification, HubSpot SEO Certification, or Ahrefs SEO Training Course.
SEM (Search Engine Marketing): Google Ads Certification (Search, Display, or Performance Max tracks via Google Skillshop), Microsoft Advertising Certified Professional, or equivalent paid search training from platforms like Udemy or Coursera.
These certifications demonstrate expertise and are essential for optimizing FMS's global inquiry strategy.
Preferred (Big Plus)
Experience with additional tools (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Hotjar for user behavior, Canva for visuals, or
Background in e-commerce or lead generation sites, with examples of increasing global inquiries.
Familiarity with international SEO (e.g., hreflang tags, geo-targeting).
