About the role

I’m looking for a talented video editor to help turn our footage into polished, engaging content for Bellaura.

Our work includes fashion and editorial shoots, behind-the-scenes footage, creator interviews, events, and promotional content. I need someone with good taste, strong attention to detail, and the ability to turn a folder of footage into a finished piece—not just assemble clips.

Strong written and spoken English is required. You must be able to understand creative direction, identify strong moments in English-language footage, write accurate captions, and communicate clearly about revisions.

What you’ll do
Review and organize footage, select the strongest moments, and build a clear story or engaging sequence.
Edit short-form videos, reels, behind-the-scenes content, interviews, event recaps, and occasional longer pieces.
Handle pacing, music selection from approved sources, dialogue cleanup, sound design, color correction, and grading.
Create clean captions, titles, and simple graphics, and prepare versions for different formats and placements.
Maintain organized project files, incorporate feedback thoughtfully, and deliver consistent work on schedule.
Who I’m looking for

You should have a portfolio that demonstrates strong pacing, visual judgment, clean audio, and an understanding of when an edit needs energy versus restraint. Experience with fashion, beauty, lifestyle, events, or cinematic content is particularly relevant.

You should be confident in a capable editing workflow such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut. Your results and judgment matter more than the name of the software you use.

You will need a computer and internet connection that can reliably handle large media files.

Additional skills I strongly prefer

Video editing is the priority for this listing, but ideally you also have experience in photo editing, executive assistance, and manual website or app QA testing.

My strongest preference is to find one person who can handle both video and photo editing at a professional level. Lightroom and Photoshop experience would be particularly valuable.

Candidates who can also help with scheduling, organizing projects, following up with collaborators, or testing Bellaura’s features will receive additional consideration. Be clear about your strengths; you do not need to claim equal expertise in everything.

Include photo-editing examples if available, the software you use, and a brief summary of your experience across all four areas. Also provide your time zone, weekly availability, earliest start date, and expected hourly or monthly rate.
