CST Media Productions is a real estate media company based in Central New York State. We specialize in providing cutting-edge visual solutions to real estate professionals, including high-quality photography, video tours, and a comprehensive suite of media marketing materials to elevate their online presence.

How You Will Contribute:

We are in search of a skilled and creative Real Estate Video Editor to join our team. As an editor for CST Media Productions, you will be responsible for creating compelling and visually engaging video content that aligns with our media services. You’ll handle standard profile and log footage, as well as both ground-level and aerial footage, delivering a range of video types such as:
Home-tour highlight videos
Agent home walkthroughs (on/off camera)
Closing day reels
Client testimonials
Realtor’s event recaps
Interview-style videos for social media
Agent talking head style ads for our clients
Short form content tailored for platforms such as Instagram reels, TikTok, and YouTube shorts

What You’ll Be Doing:

Coordinate with our team manager and social media manager to follow project requirements, objectives, and target delivery.
Monitor our Project Management System (Spiro) for new job assignments
Meet project deadlines and manage editing projects simultaneously, as needed.
Submit edited footage to the Team Manager for review and approval
Upload final videos to our clients through Spiro/Dropbox
Incorporate feedback and finalize the video with any necessary revisions
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and contribute innovative ideas to develop our video content strategy
Keep up to date, suggest, and incorporate trending video concepts and developments for real estate media videos.

What We’re Looking For:

Proficiency is Adobe Premier preferred, but not required. Open to Davinci/Final Cut Pro if you’re using that.
Excellent English (both verbal and written)
Attention to detail is a must
Looking for someone who is familiar with:
Current real estate video editing trends
Color grading LOG footage (specifically Clog 3 right now)
Creative transitions/masking transitions
Higgsfield AI - mostly for AI virtual staging, day to night style effects, season conversions, etc.
Understanding sound design
Familiar with premium captions/masking
Able to handle multiple tasks at once and stay on schedule with our delivery timelines

We are looking for someone to be a part of our team! This is accomplished by staying on top of current real estate media trends, contributing ideas and feedback to help make our videos even better! We want someone that is willing to do more than just the standard, we are looking for someone to help us stand out!

We are looking to onboard someone fairly soon in preparation for the busier season coming up.

A test edit will be required with your application. Below is a link to the RAW files for a recent shoot that we did. There are opportunities for day to night conversions, door openings, and other creative FPV shots. You don’t need to put together an entire length of video. 30 - 45 seconds will do, just as long as it’s enough to show how you would color grade, music selection, sound design, and most importantly how creative you can be! Have fun with it. Please email a link to the completed test edit in your application to be considered.

Instructions for the video:
