About the Role
We're hired by sign companies nationwide to research local government sign regulations — how many signs a property is allowed, size limits, placement restrictions, permit requirements, and more. This is high-volume, detail-oriented, independent research work — a great fit if you enjoy figuring out how local regulations actually work, like clear targets, and can work through a queue efficiently without letting quality slip.
What You'll Do
• Research applicable sign code ordinances for assigned US addresses using public sources (city/county websites, Municode, zoning maps, etc.)
• Complete code checks on our standard forms accurately and to client-ready quality
• Call US city or county planning/zoning departments when information isn't available or clear online
• Complete assignments accurately and on deadline (some will be same-day turnaround, others will be up to 3 days)
• Communicate by Slack,
