IF SALES CONVERSATIONS ENERGIZE YOU AND YOU HATE LETTING A LEAD GO COLD, THIS ROLE WAS BUILT FOR YOU.
We are a dance studio that has built something real in our community. What we do goes far beyond teaching dance. We build confidence, friendships, leadership, and skills that stay with people for life. Every family that reaches out to us is already looking for that. Your job is to make sure they find it, and to bring more people into what we are building.
We are hiring one person to own this role. Not manage it. Own it.
WHAT THIS ROLE ACTUALLY IS
This is a part time, remote sales role. The heart of it is outbound outreach to warm leads, real people who have already expressed interest in the studio. Your job is to be the first voice they hear, build genuine connection quickly, and guide them toward enrollment through real conversations.
When lead flow is strong, you are following up. When there is downtime, you are prospecting, going out and finding new families through social media, community groups, and online platforms. You are not waiting for things to come to you. You are making them happen.
You will also support the studio with weekly
This role has a real growth path. If you are consistently converting leads and bringing new families into the studio, the hours are there to grow with you. The right person will not stay part time for long.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Contact new leads immediately when they come in. Speed is a real advantage in enrollment. First contact almost always wins.
- Follow up with prospective families and adult students through calls, texts, and
- Manage your pipeline and know where every lead stands at all times. Log your activity and report daily.
- Prospect for new leads during downtime through social media, community groups, and online platforms.
- Write weekly
- Show up as a true team player. The studio owner may occasionally bring you into tasks outside your core scope. If it supports the studio's growth, you are in. That flexibility and willingness to contribute is something we value deeply in whoever joins this team.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
These are our priorities, in order:
- Phone presence above everything else. You need to sound calm, natural, and confident on every call. Not scripted. Not stiff. The kind of person who can hold a real conversation, earn trust quickly, and move it forward without forcing anything. If that description fits you, you are already ahead of most applicants.
- Fluent in spoken and written English at a C1 level or higher. This will be assessed.
- Experienced in sales, outreach, appointment setting, or enrollment based roles.
- Organized and reliable. You manage your leads, report your activity, and stay on top of follow ups without needing reminders.
- Self directed and comfortable working independently.
- Energized by conversations and motivated by real results.
- Familiar with CRM tools or lead tracking systems. Helpful but not required.
A background or interest in dance is a nice bonus. It is absolutely not required.
SCHEDULE
- 20 hours per week, spread across 7 days.
- The bulk of your hours fall on weekdays.
- Weekends are light, typically 1 to 3 hours, focused on inbound leads only. No outbound on weekends.
- Hours are scheduled within a window of 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Pacific Time. Your actual schedule within that window is set with the studio owner and may shift by season. It will always be discussed and agreed on in advance.
COMPENSATION
$250 per month, paid bi weekly via Wise.
This starts as a part time role. If you are consistently bringing new families into the studio, even a handful a month, there is a genuine path to full time. We want to give more hours to someone who is making the most of the ones they have. Results open doors here.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Every family that contacts this studio is already hoping for something meaningful. A place where their child grows. A community they can belong to. Your follow up, your voice, your consistency, that is what turns their interest into a yes. The right person in this role does not just fill a position. They change outcomes for real families.
TO APPLY
Send your resume and a short introduction. Tell us about a time you followed up with someone consistently and it made a real difference.
Include "Blue Spider" in your subject line or message title. We read every application that includes it. Think of it as the first small sign that you are someone who reads carefully and follows through, two things that matter a lot in this role.
