JOB OVERVIEW

We are an Australian Registered Training Organisation operating in the health and wellness education sector. We are seeking a highly capable LMS & Automation Specialist to optimise, secure, and elevate our technology environment.
This is not a basic VA role. We are looking for a technically strong systems thinker who can manage our Moodle LMS, strengthen our systems security, improve integrations, and implement automation solutions that reduce manual administration while protecting data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and optimise Moodle (users, enrolments, plugins, reporting)
• Improve website functionality and LMS integration
• Build automation workflows using Zapier or Make
• Implement AI-powered solutions to streamline operations
• Conduct a systems audit and implement efficiency upgrades
• Strengthen cybersecurity posture across LMS, website, and integrations
• Ensure compliance with data protection and access control best practices
Security & Access Requirements:
• The successful candidate may be required to work via a secure remote desktop environment
• Must be comfortable operating within restricted-access systems
• Must follow strict data security protocols and confidentiality standards
• Experience with secure hosting environments, user permissions, and backup management is essential
• Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (firewalls, SSL, MFA, access logs, vulnerability mitigation) is highly regarded
Required Experience:
• Proven Moodle administration experience
• Web development capability (HTML/CSS/JS; PHP preferred)
• Zapier or Make automation experience
• API integrations between systems
• Strong troubleshooting capability
• Demonstrated understanding of system security and data protection
Highly Regarded:
• Experience in education or LMS environments
• AI automation experience (ChatGPT/OpenAI integrations)
• CRM integrations
• Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments
