JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing music school based in Texas, USA (Kingwood Arts Academy of Music), and we are looking for a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Remote Receptionist / Virtual Assistant to join our team.

This is a long-term position with consistent hours. We are looking for someone who wants stability and to grow with us.

Responsibilities:
• Answer incoming phone calls using a VoIP system
• Respond to emails and parent inquiries professionally
• Schedule and reschedule student lessons in our system (Opus1)
• Follow up with new leads and keep records organized
• Send confirmations, reminders, and messages to clients
• Assist with general administrative tasks
• Provide excellent customer service to parents and students

Schedule:
Monday – Friday
9:00 AM – 2:30 PM CST (Texas time)
Part-time (30 hours/week) — long-term, stable role

Compensation:
$4 – $6 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements:

• Excellent spoken and written English
• Clear, professional, and friendly communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Customer service experience preferred
• Comfortable learning new software (training provided)
• Reliable high-speed internet (with backup)
• Quiet and professional work environment
• Must have own computer and headset
• Comfortable using tools such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and communication platforms (Teams or similar)
• Experience working with CRM systems or scheduling tools is a strong plus
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new systems quickly
• Interest in using AI tools (such as ChatGPT) to improve efficiency and productivity
