Brighterly is a sophisticated Ed-tech startup that provides an after-school English Language Arts & Math excellence programs for children from kindergarten to grade 8 studying in the USA. We believe that strong literacy skills shape a child's future and open doors to endless opportunities.

You Will Be:
- Delivering fun and engaging 1-on-1 ELA classes using online applications.
- Participating in lesson development process by creating lesson materials.
- Helping students improve listening & speaking, reading, writing and language arts skills.
- Communicating any feedback regarding lessons and student progress to the office team.
- Providing regular reports on student learning and achievements.
- Tracking and improving class engagement and learning experiences.

What we ask:
- Advanced level (C1+) English with little to no accent.
- A passion for working with young children and making learning engaging.
- At least six months of experience teaching children.
- A strong foundation in English language skills (reading, writing, phonics, comprehension).
- Experience in developing educational materials and adapting lessons to student needs.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work weekends and/or weekday afternoons and evenings.
- Ability to work as a self-employed contractor.
- Patience, professionalism, and adaptability to different student needs.
- Punctuality and strong time-management skills.

Please note:
This is a remote work position so you will need your own laptop, a stable internet connection, a good camera and microphone and a quiet place to work from, with a plain background.
