About the Role
We are a growing law firm looking for a Remote Legal Assistant / Intake Coordinator to support the administrative and operational side of our practice. This role handles client intake, case file organization, and day-to-day communication so our attorneys can focus on legal work rather than administrative tasks.
This is an early-stage type of hire in the sense that you will work closely with firm leadership and play a real role in keeping cases moving and clients informed.
This role works US business hours, which fall during the night in the Philippines. Please only apply if you are able to work a consistent night shift long term.
Core Responsibilities
Client Intake: Serve as an early point of contact for prospective clients. Gather case information, schedule consultations, and guide potential clients through the intake process.
Case File Organization: Maintain organized, accurate case files and documentation. Track deadlines and case status so nothing is missed.
Client Communication: Provide regular updates to clients on case progress. Handle routine questions professionally and know when to escalate to an attorney.
Document Support: Assist with preparing and organizing non-legal documentation, correspondence, and case materials. This role does not perform legal work or give legal advice.
Calendar and Deadline Tracking: Keep attorney calendars organized and flag upcoming deadlines, hearings, or filing dates well in advance.
