Connaught Joinery – Ireland
Full-Time | Remote (Philippines) | Long-Term Position

Connaught Joinery is an Irish manufacturing company specialising in premium prehung doorsets, fire doors, and bespoke joinery.
We are seeking an experienced Joinery Estimator to prepare detailed tenders, quotations, and schedules of works for our Irish and European projects - fully remotely from the Philippines.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and schedules for joinery and doorset projects.
This includes interpreting architectural drawings, door schedules, and ironmongery specifications, ensuring all outputs meet European (EN) standards for fire and acoustic performance.

You’ll work closely with our Irish estimating and production teams to deliver precise, compliant, and professional tenders.

Key Responsibilities
• Review architectural drawings, door schedules, and specifications
• Prepare tender quotations, BOQs, and Schedules of Works
• Apply and understand EN fire door standards (FD30, FD60, etc.)
• Compile ironmongery sets and confirm compliance with EN-rated hardware
• Support pricing through templates or exports from Intact IQ ERP
• Collaborate via Microsoft Teams and shared folders with our Irish team
• Maintain consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail in all outputs

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in joinery, fit-out, or doorset estimating
• Strong knowledge of:
• EN-standard fire doors and acoustic doorsets
• Ironmongery schedules and hardware coordination
• Prehung and bespoke joinery systems
• Proficient in Excel, PDF markup, and AutoCAD or Bluebeam for take-offs
• Excellent English communication and strong technical understanding
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to meet tender deadlines

Preferred (Not Required)
• Familiarity with Intact IQ ERP or similar systems
• Experience with PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or take-off software
• Prior exposure to Irish or European joinery standards

Compensation & Benefits
• p46,000 – p70,000 per month (USD $800 – $1,200 equivalent)
• Performance bonus based on project accuracy and turnaround
• Long-term contract with career growth opportunities
• Monday–Friday, 4 PM – 12 AM PH time (to align with Ireland)
• Fully remote with video check-ins and digital workflow
