Remote IT Infrastructure, Low-Voltage & Project Accounting Coordinator

A U.S.-based IT infrastructure, networking, telecommunications, and low-voltage contractor supporting commercial and government customers throughout the United States.
Our projects include network infrastructure deployments, structured cabling, wireless infrastructure, equipment installation, site surveys, troubleshooting, equipment staging, and multi-site field deployments.
We are looking for a highly capable IT Infrastructure, Low-Voltage & Project Accounting Coordinator who can help manage projects from initial customer request through technical planning, procurement, field execution, closeout, invoicing, and financial reconciliation.
This is not a basic Virtual Assistant position.
The successful candidate must combine:
IT/networking knowledge + low-voltage knowledge + project management + field-service coordination + procurement + logistics + accounting/job costing.
We are looking for someone capable of taking ownership of projects rather than simply waiting for individual tasks.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
IT Infrastructure & Low-Voltage Project Coordination
Coordinate multiple IT infrastructure and low-voltage projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities include:
* Review customer Statements of Work (SOWs), purchase orders, work orders, drawings, and project requirements.
* Develop project schedules and implementation plans.
* Coordinate field technicians and subcontractors.
* Schedule site visits, surveys, installations, troubleshooting, and remediation.
* Coordinate customer/site access.
* Maintain project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deadlines.
* Track project status from award through final closeout.
* Identify risks, missing information, scheduling conflicts, and project dependencies.
* Communicate professionally with customers, technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, and management.
* Escalate technical, operational, financial, or scheduling problems before they impact project delivery.
The coordinator will frequently manage multiple geographically distributed U.S. sites at the same time.

A major responsibility of this position is developing and validating project BOMs.

Accounting experience is required for this position.
