Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Hiring Manager to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for streamlining our recruitment process, ensuring that only the most qualified candidates move forward, and saving management valuable time. This role requires strong HR expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage applicant evaluations without bias.
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with management to clearly understand hiring requirements for each position.
• Interview existing employees in similar roles to gather insights into what makes a successful candidate.
• Review resumes and shortlist suitable applicants for initial interviews.
• Conduct the first round of online interviews on behalf of the company, ensuring professionalism and accurate information gathering.
• Develop and maintain a position-specific checklist and applicant grading system.
• Evaluate applicants fairly and recommend a shortlist of candidates for final management interviews.
• Record and document all interviews (in English) for review and transparency.
• Establish and refine a structured interview review and question system, tailoring questions based on each role.
Required Experience & Skills
• Proven experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, or Staffing.
• Knowledge of online job boards and platforms, including where Virtual Assistant (VA) job posts are located.
• Excellent English communication skills (both spoken and written).
• Strong organizational and evaluation skills, with the ability to conduct interviews impartially.
• Experience developing grading systems, evaluation checklists, and structured processes for recruitment.
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple positions while minimizing the number of interviews needed per role.
