JOB OVERVIEW

We’re Hiring: Customer Service Specialist (Virtual Assistant) | Remote

Coastal Pay is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, customer-focused Customer Service Specialist (Virtual Assistant) to support our merchants and internal team.

We work with growing businesses across the country and pride ourselves on fast communication, strong support, and real relationships. If you enjoy helping people, solving problems, and communicating clearly — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone

Assist merchants with onboarding questions and account support

Troubleshoot basic payment or account-related issues

Escalate complex cases to the appropriate department

Maintain organized records of interactions and follow-ups

Provide professional, timely, and empathetic communication


What We’re Looking For:

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent grammar and professional email etiquette

Ability to stay calm and solution-focused under pressure

Detail-oriented and highly organized

Tech-comfortable (CRM systems, email platforms, spreadsheets, etc.)

Self-motivated and accountable while working remotely

Previous customer service experience preferred

Remote Requirements:

Since this is a fully remote position, candidates must have:

A quiet, distraction-free home workspace

Reliable high-speed internet

A professional background for video calls

The ability to work scheduled hours consistently
