MMM Auto Centre is a family-owned automotive recycling business based in Melbourne with over 20 years of experience supplying quality used vehicle parts across Australia. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, fast turnaround times, and accurate parts identification.

We are looking for an experienced Remote Automotive Parts Sales Interpreter to join our team.

About the Role

Working remotely, you will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, identifying and selling quality used automotive parts, preparing quotations, processing orders, and ensuring outstanding customer service.

Working Hours (Remote Position)

* Remote work
* Monday to Saturday
* 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Melbourne, Australia time)
* Availability during these hours is essential.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to phone, email, and online customer enquiries.
* Identify and interpret automotive parts accurately using OEM catalogues and industry resources.
* Prepare customer quotations and convert enquiries into sales.
* Process sales orders and invoices using Pinnacle.
* Check vehicle compatibility to ensure correct parts are supplied.
* Maintain accurate customer and inventory records.
* Follow up on quotations and outstanding customer enquiries.
* Work closely with our warehouse team to ensure orders are processed efficiently.
* Deliver exceptional customer service while achieving sales targets.

Essential Requirements

* Previous experience as an Automotive Parts Interpreter.
* Strong working knowledge of Pinnacle (essential).
* Excellent understanding of automotive parts and vehicle systems.
* Ability to interpret VINs and identify the correct parts using OEM catalogues.
* Proven sales and customer service experience.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
* Reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable home office setup.

Desirable

* Experience within the automotive recycling or used parts industry.
* Experience using PartsCheck or other estimating software.
* Knowledge of a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
