ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a Remote Accountant Manager to join our fast growing team. This role will be responsible for assisting a small team of bookkeepers through the entire month-end close cycle, using our proprietary checklists. At times, the Accountant Manager will need to answer inquiries from the bookkeeper, from clients (although this position is not client facing), and assist with bookkeeping tasks to meet deadlines.
WORK SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM -5:00 PM Arizona Time (12:00 AM - 8:00 AM Philippine Standard Time).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of professional accounting and bookkeeping practices.
Utilize QuickBooks Online to review financial packages.
Oversee client onboarding process for all assigned client engagements in accordance with the defined process.
Serve as a resource to all assigned tea
Monitor tea
Work closely with the Client Services Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA is preferred but not required.
Relevant experience with bookkeeping, reconciliation, expense monitoring, and invoice processing, managing and reviewing bookkeeper’s work.
Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications.
Experience with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Online certification is preferred but not required.
Experience in a multi-client environment
Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
