Hi, I’m Luke, the founder of Tahanan.

Tahanan is a Tagalog learning app built for real progress in speaking, confidence, and cultural connection. Our strongest audience is heritage learners, especially people who grew up hearing Tagalog but never learned to speak it comfortably.

I’m looking for a small group of established tutors and creators who feel genuinely aligned with that mission.

This is a referral partner opportunity, not a tutoring job at Tahanan.

We are not hiring tutors to teach students inside the app. We are looking for people who already teach Tagalog or already have an engaged audience, and want to recommend Tahanan to students or followers who are a strong fit.

This is not a salaried role.
This is not for new tutors looking for their first teaching opportunity.

Who this is for:
- Tagalog tutors with active students or public teaching profiles
- Filipino creators who make content relevant to Filipino culture, language, identity, or family life
- People who understand the emotional side of reconnecting with Tagalog
- People who care about helping others build confidence speaking

Who this is not for:
- Generic affiliate marketers
- Broad influencers with no real connection to the product
- People looking for a fixed monthly salary from this role
- New tutors
- People looking for a VA role at Tahanan

What partners get:

- Recurring commission on attributed website subscriptions

- No minimum payout threshold

Important:
Referrals only work when the customer subscribes through the Tahanan website.
If someone subscribes through Apple or Google in-app purchase, the sale cannot be attributed.

For tutors:
Tahanan can help your students stay more consistent between lessons and get more speaking practice outside lesson time.

For creators:
The strongest content for Tahanan is personal, heritage-focused, and real. Content about growing up hearing Tagalog, wanting to speak with family, reconnecting with culture, or building speaking confidence tends to fit best.
