JOB OVERVIEW

Job Summary

ELKO Logistics is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist with payroll experience to support our hiring, onboarding, and payroll operations.

The ideal candidate is proactive, communicates effectively, follows up consistently, and can manage multiple tasks independently while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Onboarding

Schedule candidate interviews through Indeed.

Coordinate interviews with station managers.

Manage candidate onboarding through the Amazon Portal and Flex App.

Schedule drug testing and follow up on pending results.

Contact candidates regularly to ensure onboarding is completed promptly.

Schedule Amazon training and communicate instructions to candidates.

Process new hires in Paycom.

Coordinate Form I-9 verification and ensure required documentation is completed.

Time & Attendance / Payroll

Reconcile employee timecards against Amazon Flex App records.

Identify and resolve missing punches and timecard discrepancies.

Review and prepare weekly timecards for approval.

Assist with weekly payroll processing, including bonuses and incentives.

Maintain accurate employee timekeeping and payroll records.

Qualifications

Previous experience in recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, or payroll.

Payroll and timekeeping experience required.

Experience with Indeed, Paycom, or similar platforms preferred.

Excellent written and spoken English.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Comfortable communicating with candidates and employees by phone, email, and text.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Availability during U.S. Central Time business hours.
