JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for a video editor who works in DaVinci Resolve 20 Studio to create 30–60 second real estate walkthrough reels on a per-job basis.

These are primarily one-take walkthrough edits, not multi-clip edits. The goal is to take a single walkthrough clip and make it feel smooth, refined, polished, and natural.

These are not flashy edits with heavy transitions. There should be no transitions unless specifically requested. The focus is on clean pacing, smooth motion, proper stabilization, straight verticals, tasteful speed ramping, and a bright, natural real estate look.

I will provide the footage and specific instructions for each property. I will also provide instructional videos, color nodes, plugins, and tutorials explaining my preferred style and workflow. It is important that these materials are watched carefully and followed accurately and consistently.

Responsibilities include:

* Editing 30–60 second real estate walkthrough reels
* Working entirely in DaVinci Resolve 20
* Carefully watching and accurately following the provided instructional videos
* Following all property-specific editing instructions
* Editing primarily one-take walkthrough clips
* Creating smooth, natural pacing
* Applying subtle speed adjustments and speed ramping
* Stabilizing footage where appropriate
* Straightening verticals and correcting distracting pitch, rotation, or tilt
* Applying the provided color nodes and plugins
* Making interiors feel bright, clean, natural, and balanced
* Exporting and delivering final videos in the requested format
* Communicating and delivering completed work through email or WhatsApp

Strong and prompt communication is required. You should confirm when footage and instructions have been received, ask questions promptly if anything is unclear, and let me know as soon as each edit is complete. I need someone who responds reliably and does not leave messages or assignments unacknowledged.

The ideal fit has experience editing real estate, interior, architecture, or lifestyle videos and understands how to make a walkthrough feel elegant and professional without over-editing it. Attention to detail and the ability to follow an established editing style are extremely important.

This position is paid hourly on a per-job basis and requires a turnaround time of no more than 24 hours. With experience and familiarity with the workflow, most edits can take less than 30 minutes to complete.
