Looking for a Job Where You Can Learn, Grow, and Build Valuable Skills?
We believe in investing in people, not just assigning them work. When someone joins our team, we don't simply hand them a list of tasks and expect them to figure everything out on their own. Training and professional development are an important part of how we work. We provide paid, hands-on training, one-on-one guidance, recorded tutorials, and ongoing support to help our team members develop new skills and become confident in their responsibilities.

We don't expect you to know everything when you start. We're looking for someone who enjoys learning, asks questions, takes initiative, and wants to grow professionally.

Our goal is to build a long-term working relationship where we invest in your development and you take pride in the work we accomplish together.

About Our Business

We are an established, growing New Jersey real estate business affiliated with LPT Realty, a national U.S. real estate brokerage. We're looking for one dependable, organized, and tech-savvy Virtual Assistant to help manage the behind-the-scenes operations of our real estate business.

This is not a cold-calling, sales, or customer service position.

Nearly everything we do involves computer systems, Google Workspace, real estate technology, digital marketing, and AI tools. You don't need to be an expert in real estate. We're looking for someone who already has a good foundation in computer systems, enjoys learning unfamiliar software, and wants to develop professionally. We provide paid training and are willing to invest in the right person.

What You Should Already Know

Google Workspace
You should have practical experience using:
Google Sheets
Google Docs
Google Drive
Gmail
Google Calendar
Organizing digital files and information
Working with multiple browser tabs and online applications

Important: Our business uses Google Workspace exclusively. We do not use Microsoft Office for daily business operations.
You must be comfortable working within Google's applications rather than switching between Microsoft and Google platforms.

Computer & Technology Skills

We're looking for someone who:

Is comfortable using computer systems and web-based applications.
Can learn unfamiliar software through tutorials and practice.
Understands digital file management.
Can solve basic computer problems.
Can work with multiple applications throughout the day.
Has basic familiarity with Google Gemini, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools.
You do not need advanced technical training or programming experience.
We want someone who can learn new systems, apply what they've learned, and become increasingly independent.

Experience That Would Be Helpful

These skills are a bonus. You do not need to know all of them.
Real Estate
Previous administrative experience with a U.S. real estate business.
Familiarity with MLS systems.
Exposure to real estate listings or transaction coordination.
Bright MLS or another U.S. MLS system.
Follow Up Boss or another CRM platform.
Marketing & Business Systems
Canva
Social media scheduling
Digital marketing
Basecamp or other project management tools
Data management and reporting
Basic expense tracking
Additional Google Tools
Google Forms
Google Slides
Google Vids
Google Sites
Google Classroom
YouTube content management
Gemini within Google Workspace
If you've used any of these programs, we'd love to hear what you've created or accomplished with them.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will grow as you complete training and become comfortable with our systems.

1. Real Estate Listings & Transactions

Help prepare real estate contracts and documents using approved templates for licensed agent review.
Prepare property descriptions and listing information.
Enter and maintain MLS listing information using authorized access and required approvals.
Track contract dates, transaction deadlines, and important documents.
Organize files and transaction checklists.
Coordinate administrative tasks with title companies, lenders, attorneys, and vendors.
Order listing marketing through our brokerage's systems.
Set up and manage digital listing marketing campaigns.

2. Google Workspace & Business Operations
Create and maintain Google Sheets reports.
Research recently sold properties and organize sales information.
Track business expenses and organize receipts.
Maintain Google Drive files and folders.
Manage calendars, deadlines, and project assignments.
Help create written procedures for recurring tasks.
Organize and improve digital workflows.

3. Marketing & Social Media
Create marketing materials using Canva.
Manage daily social media campaigns.
Prepare monthly real estate magazine advertisements.
Create monthly neighborhood mailers featuring recently sold homes.
Research home sales and prepare reports for local publications.
Coordinate local vendor advertisements.
Organize printing and Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) campaigns.
Track marketing projects and deadlines.

4. Client Relationships & Events
Maintain accurate client information in our CRM.
Track birthdays, anniversaries, and home purchase anniversaries.
Use online greeting card services to prepare and schedule personalized cards.
Help coordinate client appreciation events.
Organize vendors, invitations, supplies, and event checklists.
You won't be expected to master all these responsibilities immediately.

We'll begin with tasks that match your current abilities and introduce additional responsibilities as you learn.

What We Offer

Paid Training & Career Development
We believe in investing in good people and helping them develop valuable skills.
We provide:
Paid training from your first day.
No fees for company-required training or software.
One-on-one Zoom training.
Recorded tutorials and training videos.
Training in U.S. real estate transactions and MLS systems.
Training in real estate marketing and CRM platforms.
Opportunities to expand your Google Workspace skills.
Training in Google Gemini, ChatGPT, and AI-assisted workflows.
Clear procedures and ongoing feedback.
A compensation review after 90 days.
Opportunities for increased responsibility and compensation as your skills develop.
We're looking for someone interested in learning and building a long-term career, not simply completing assignments.

Work Schedule
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | U.S. Eastern Time
Initial Training Period — Approximately 3 Weeks
7:00 AM–12:00 PM: Live Zoom training, demonstrations, and guided learning.
12:00 PM–1:00 PM: Unpaid meal break.
1:00 PM–4:00 PM: Beginning assignments, independent practice, and applying what you've learned.

All training and assigned work hours are paid.

Regular Schedule — Expected Beginning Around Week 4
8:00 AM–5:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time
Some flexibility in starting times may be available within normal U.S. Eastern business hours, depending on business needs.
Daily Breaks
One 60-minute unpaid meal break.
Two paid 15-minute rest breaks.
40 paid hours per week.

This position requires evening and overnight working hours in the Philippines. Your local schedule will shift by one hour when U.S. daylight saving time changes.
Please apply only if you can consistently work these hours.

Home Office & Computer Requirements

Because we work with multiple computer systems, reliable equipment and internet are important.
Recommended Computer Specifications
Intel Core i5 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5 (4000 series or newer), or comparable processor.
16 GB RAM or more.
SSD storage.
Windows 11 or a currently supported version of macOS.
Ability to run multiple browser applications and Zoom smoothly.
Preferred Equipment
32 GB RAM.
512 GB SSD.
External monitor or dual-monitor setup.
Internet speeds of 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload or faster.
Home Office
Reliable internet connection.
Backup internet or mobile hotspot.
Practical backup power plan.
Quiet, dedicated workspace.
Comfortable desk and chair.
Noise-canceling headset with microphone.
Webcam for Zoom meetings.

We're Looking for the Right Person, Not the Perfect Home Office
We understand that a great candidate may not have the latest computer, fastest internet, or most comfortable workspace.
Please don't let equipment limitations stop you from applying if you have the technical ability, willingness to learn, and qualities we're looking for.
For the right candidate, we're willing to invest in approved improvements, which may include:
Computer upgrades or additional equipment.
Faster internet service and Wi-Fi upgrades.
Backup internet solutions.
A comfortable office chair and desk.
An external monitor, quality headset, or other equipment needed to work efficiently.
We ask that you tell us honestly about your current computer, internet speed, and workspace so we can understand what you already have and what improvements may be needed.
Equipment and internet assistance will be discussed individually with selected candidates.

What matters most is finding someone dependable, technically capable, eager to learn, and interested in a long-term working relationship.

Computer Security & Time Tracking
We use a company-approved VPN when required and background time-tracking software to maintain accurate records of working hours for payroll.
The software operates quietly without recurring screenshot alerts or interruptions. It may capture periodic screenshots during agreed working hours.

We expect our team members to follow company security procedures and protect confidential business and client information.
Our time-tracking, monitoring, and privacy procedures will be explained before work begins.

Personal Qualities We Value
Technical skills are important, but we also care about how you work.

We're looking for someone who:
Is honest, dependable, and punctual.
Enjoys learning technology.
Has strong attention to detail.
Can follow instructions and established procedures.
Asks questions when something isn't clear.
Can work independently after receiving training.
Takes notes and learns from feedback.
Communicates openly when mistakes or problems happen.
Enjoys solving problems.
Takes responsibility for completing assignments.
Wants to learn and grow professionally.

We welcome suggestions and new ideas. We also believe in following established procedures unless changes have been discussed and approved.
We're looking for a long-term working relationship built on mutual respect, clear communication, and dependability.

How to Apply

Please copy the three questions below into your application and answer each one.

Begin with a brief introduction about yourself and your relevant work experience.

Please describe your current:

Computer specifications (processor, RAM, and storage).

Internet download and upload speeds.

Backup internet and power arrangements.

Workspace, desk, chair, headset, and webcam.

Please confirm that you can work both the initial training schedule and regular U.S. Eastern Time schedule.

Are you comfortable using a company-approved VPN and background time-tracking software during your scheduled working hours?

Your English doesn't need to be perfect. We're more interested in understanding how you think, what you've learned, and how you approach your work.
