JOB OVERVIEW

Charlotte Real Estate Media is looking for part-time video editors to join our growing video team. This is not full-time employment. Editors are assigned projects as jobs come in.

Schedule & Availability
• Workdays: Monday through Saturday
• We do not work on Sundays
• Projects are typically assigned by 10:00 PM EST
• Videos must be submitted by 7:00 AM EST
• Editors should be available to work evenings based on this schedule
• Weekly workload will vary based on volume

Work Structure
• Editors are assigned projects by a Video Team Leader
• Projects are assigned as they come in
• Some weeks may be busier than others
• If volume slows, fewer projects may be assigned
• This role is best for someone comfortable with flexible, project-based work

Pay
• Paid per video ($20 for basic video, $35 for Premium video)
• Rates discussed during the interview process

Software & Equipment
• Final Cut Pro is recommended
• A MacBook is strongly preferred
• If you do not currently have a MacBook or Final Cut Pro, one may be provided
• All music, fonts, sound effects, and creative assets are provided
• Editors are not required to purchase any assets

Requirements
• Experience editing video (Final Cut Pro or similar NLE)
• High-speed, reliable internet connection
• Strong attention to detail (especially spelling and on-screen text)
• Good written English
• Ability to follow systems and instructions
• Team-oriented attitude and good communication

Experience
• Real estate video editing experience is strongly preferred
• Applicants must submit at least one example of a real estate video they have edited previously
