Overview
We’re looking for a Real Estate Asset Manager who can oversee property-level performance, drive financial outcomes, and guide strategy across a portfolio of commercial or multifamily assets. This role blends analytics, budgeting, operational oversight, and partnership with third-party property managers to improve NOI and long-term asset value.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor financial and operational performance for each asset, including occupancy, leasing, rent growth, collections, CapEx, and expense trends.
• Review monthly property-manager reporting packages and identify variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain asset-level budgets, reforecasts, long-term plans, and investment models.
• Oversee business plans and ensure execution against leasing, renovation, and capital program targets.
• Partner with property managers to improve operations, streamline workflows, and resolve issues.
• Manage lender deliverables, reporting packages, DSCR requirements, reserves, and compliance.
• Lead hold/sell analysis, valuation models, and investor updates across assigned assets.
• Track market fundamentals, rent comps, sales comps, and local operating conditions.
• Support acquisitions with underwriting, due diligence, and transition plans when needed.
• Maintain internal dashboards, KPIs, and performance summaries for leadership.
Qualifications
• Experience in real estate asset management, property operations, or acquisitions.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgets, NOI drivers, and investment metrics.
• Proficiency with Excel, financial modeling, and property-management systems (Yardi, RealPage, AppFolio, MRI, etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple assets, deadlines, and stakeholders with a high sense of ownership.
• Clear communication skills with property managers, lenders, partners, and investors.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues quickly and drive solutions.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with commercial or multifamily portfolios.
• Understanding of CapEx planning, construction budgets, and vendor management.
• Familiarity with data tools, dashboards, or analytics platforms.
• Strong organizational habits and the ability to work independently.
