We're seeking a seasoned React Native Developer proficient in crafting intricate technical solutions from inception, and adept at constructing high-performance mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. In this role, you'll do the architecture and development of these applications, collaborating closely with teams overseeing various facets of the product infrastructure.
As a senior developer/architect, your role will be pivotal in shaping the project's architecture, leveraging your expertise to align our clients’ requirements with our team’s capabilities and cutting-edge technologies.
Your inclination towards learning new technologies and imparting knowledge to others should be inherent.
Upon comprehending the client’s needs, you will collaborate with our development team to select appropriate technical solutions and architecture for delivering a top-tier application. This includes rigorously testing both your own contributions and those of your colleagues.
Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other senior developers and architects within our team to enhance our working methodologies continually.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop cross-platform React Native applications for iOS and Android.
Write clean and testable code aligned with best practices, applying design patterns and principles.
Work as part of a Scrum team, actively participating in established processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Develop integration of the mobile application with third-party APIs and libraries.
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
Plan the data and presentation layers of the application's front end.
Stay up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in mobile animation and contribute to the continuous improvement of our animation processes.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience with React Native
Extensive proficiency in React Native Animated API or equivalent libraries for RN
Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle {{Android Studio, IntelliJ}}
Experience with multiple global and API state management libraries and can choose between them according to the project
Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and design patterns
Experience working with designers to implement animations based on design specifications
Be a part of a React Native developer community that shares knowledge and assists one another when problems arise.
Great listening, communication and presentation skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Willing to work AEST business hours
