Position Overview
As a Legal Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both our clients and our legal team. You will work directly with Spanish and English-speaking clients, helping them understand the Virginia workers’ compensation process and ensuring their information is accurately documented and communicated.
This position is ideal for someone who is compassionate, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing client interaction with administrative legal work.

Key Responsibilities
• Communicate professionally and empathetically with Spanish and English-speaking clients, both verbally and in writing
• Translate accurately between Spanish and English during phone calls, client meetings, and written communications
• Assist with client intakes, documenting information clearly and thoroughly
• Maintain consistent communication with existing clients regarding their cases
• Prepare, type, and organize legal documents and client files
• Utilize case management software and follow established firm processes
• Support attorneys and tea ---------- mbers to ensure efficient and effective case handling
• Uphold the firm’s values by treating all clients and coworkers with respect, integrity, and professionalism

Qualifications
• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients who may be injured, stressed, or uncertain
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Previous legal experience is required. We are committed to training the right person who is eager to learn and grow.
