A Bookkeeper at CapForge is responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with their assigned Group
Admin (manager), as well as managing full-time client list. All projects should be completed before priority
deadlines given with little to no errors each month.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
? Complete monthly/quarterly bookkeeping in an accurate and timely manner.
? Review financial statements before they are sent to the Group Admin for review.
? Provide complete and accurate financial statements to Group Admins every month.
? Correctly download, rename, and save to company Dropbox all statements needed to complete
monthly bookkeeping when access is available.
? Check Client Uploads folder for any missing documents that are listed as “Client Sends”
? Follow all written procedures for clients listed in company Project Manager system.
? Follow all written internal processes and procedures listed in company GetGuru account.
? Complete projects by monthly deadlines.
? Utilize problem solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues in the financial
statements.
? Follow written and spoken communication guidelines.
? 1 business day response time is expected for all emails and phone calls from your
Group Admin.
? Identify and alert Group Admin of any clients that are delinquent or have ongoing issues
in their financials that need to be addressed.
? Update Project Manager to accurately reflect project status
? Run and clear notes in internal accuracy check software (BooksChecker) monthly
? Clear notes for any open QA Reviews before financials are sent for the month or before
the end of the month if financials have already been sent out.
Training is provided on all company systems as well as general bookkeeping processes. A successful candidate will have several years experience working in QuickBooks Online for multiple clients each month. We currently have over 40 direct hires in the Philippines so we are comfortable working with remote employees and have training and support including from Philippines based employees. All employees are hired direct and paid weekly via Paypal. Hours are recorded in our system daily. We offer vacation time, sick time, bonuses, raises and equipment reimbursement once you've reached at least 90 days of employment. Must have a good internet connection, computer and preferably two monitors.
