Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented professional with strong QuickBooks expertise, based in Manila or in Cebu City. This role combines bookkeeping/accounting support with administrative (secretarial) duties, including client communication and managing multiple accounts. The ideal candidate must also demonstrate leadership potential and be comfortable leading and mentoring a team in the future. Work hours may align with overseas clients and fall during Philippines night hours.
Work Schedule:
Typical schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Manila Time)
Must be flexible to accommodate actual time-shift changes
Some shifts may be during PH night hours
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple client accounts using QuickBooks
Perform bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and expense tracking
Assist with basic financial reporting
Handle administrative/secretarial tasks as needed
Answer and respond to client voice notes in a professional and timely manner
Coordinate and communicate with clients regarding requests and updates
Maintain organized and accurate records
Demonstrate initiative and assist with process improvements
Prepare to lead, train, and manage a team as the role expands
Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven experience with QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)
Strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills
Comfortable communicating with clients via voice notes and messaging platforms
Demonstrated leadership ability or potential
Confident decision-maker with a proactive mindset
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Prior experience working with international clients is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience leading or mentoring tea
Experience in remote or virtual assistant roles
Familiarity with U.S.-based accounting practices
