We are a growing U.S.-based accounting firm (Muhammad Endeavors Financial Services) looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeping Assistant to support both our client work and internal company operations.
This is a long-term role with growth opportunities as our firm continues to expand.
You will assist with bookkeeping for 15+ client accounts as well as help manage our internal invoicing, collections, and administrative processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Bookkeeping (Primary)
* Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online
* Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
* Review and clean up uncategorized transactions
* Maintain accurate financial records
* Assist with monthly close processes
Internal Bookkeeping (MEFS)
* Maintain bookkeeping for our internal company (MEFS)
* Track income and expenses accurately
* Ensure books are clean and up to date at all times
Invoicing & Collections
* Create and send client invoices (monthly & as needed)
* Maintain an organized accounts receivable (A/R) tracker
* Monitor outstanding invoices and payment status
* Prepare follow-up messages for unpaid invoices (for review/approval)
* Flag overdue accounts (30/60/90 days) for action
* Assist in keeping billing and collections organized and up to date
Note: All client communication will be reviewed and approved before being sent.
Admin Support
* Organize client documents in Google Drive
* Assist with onboarding new clients
* Maintain internal trackers and checklists
* Support day-to-day administrative tasks
REQUIREMENTS
* Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
* Experience with invoicing and accounts receivable (A/R)
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organization and follow-through
* Ability to communicate professionally with clients
* Reliable internet connection
BONUS (NOT REQUIRED BUT A PLUS)
* Experience working with U.S.-based accounting firms
* Familiarity with A/R follow-ups and collections
* Experience with Google Sheets, Slack, or CRM tools
HOURS
* 12–15 hours per week to start

* $3 - $6/hour (based on experience)
