We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Coordinator to join our team!
About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Coordinator with experience in U.S. healthcare to help ensure patients receive appropriate preventive care and follow-up services.
The ideal candidate has experience working with U.S. healthcare insurance or medical-related accounts, is comfortable handling both inbound and outbound calls, and has strong attention to detail when reviewing patient records and coordinating care.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, providers, and healthcare teams.
Schedule and coordinate:
Annual Wellness Visits (AWV)
Annual Physical Exams
Follow-up appointments
Post-Emergency Department (ED) follow-ups
Transitional Care Management (TCM)
Review patient records to identify outstanding preventive care and follow-up needs
Assist with coordinating preventive health screenings, including:
Colon cancer screening
Breast cancer screening
Cervical cancer screening
Retinal/diabetic eye screening
Other recommended preventive services
Review, update, and maintain accurate patient and clinical records.
Verify and document relevant patient information, insurance details, and care activities.
Work within EHR/EMR systems to update and maintain patient information.
Follow established workflows, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
Protect patient information and maintain confidentiality in accordance with healthcare privacy standards.
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and healthcare staff.
Perform quality checks to ensure records and documentation are accurate and complete.
Qualifications
Graduate of a Medical-related course OR at least 2 years of experience handling U.S. healthcare insurance or medical-related accounts.
Experience with both inbound and outbound calls in a healthcare setting.
Experience with AWV, annual physicals, follow-up appointments, ED follow-ups, or TCM is highly preferred.
Knowledge of U.S. healthcare insurance, plans, and terminology.
Familiarity with preventive care services and common healthcare screenings.
Experience reviewing and maintaining patient or clinical records.
Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential patient information appropriately.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
