About Us:
Exposure It Real Estate Media is a high-volume real estate media company based in the U.S. We deliver clean, modern, natural-looking real estate photography for top-performing agents and brokerages across the Pittsburgh market and beyond. We process 10–15+ shoots per night using AI-assisted editing software, and our QC editors are the final checkpoint before client delivery. Quality, consistency, and speed are non-negotiable.
The Role:
We use AI-assisted editing software to give our photos a strong starting point. Your job is to take those photos across the finish line: polishing exposure, color consistency, and completing any specific edit requests from our photographers (object removals, sky replacements, vertical corrections, etc.). The level of work needed varies by shoot – some need minimal touch-ups, others need more hands-on attention. You are the last set of eyes before delivery. This is a combined light editing and quality control role – not a full editing position, and not a passive review-only role.
Volume Expectations:
• You will be expected to complete 10–15 photo shoots per 8-hour shift.
• A typical shoot is 30–70 edited photos with 1–4 specific edit requests.
• Some shoots have zero requests and only need a quality pass.
• Heavier shoots with 6–10 detailed requests will come up, but these are the exception.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and polish AI-edited real estate photos for overall quality and consistency.
• Complete photographer edit requests: object removals (cars, trash cans, people, reflections, cords), sky replacements, vertical/horizontal corrections, color corrections, and green grass replacement.
• Ensure images match our clean, natural, true-to-life editing style.
• Check for proper exposure, color balance, straight verticals, realistic window pulls, and consistent skies across entire shoots.
• Black out all TV screens.
• Apply property line highlights on drone photos when required.
• Export using correct ratio and sizing for MLS and Piatt Sotheby’s requirements when specified.
• Flag any issues or questions to the team before marking a shoot as complete.
• Mark each shoot as done on our tracking spreadsheet after completing all requests.
Who This Role Is For
This role is ideal for someone who:
• Has real experience editing real estate photography (not just general photo retouching).
• Has an excellent eye for detail and can spot mistakes quickly and confidently.
• Can work fast without sacrificing quality. Speed matters in this role.
• Is comfortable reviewing and polishing large volumes of images nightly.
• Takes ownership of final output and treats every shoot like it’s their reputation on the line.
• Works independently and communicates clearly when something needs attention.
Required Experience & Skills:
• Proven experience editing real estate photos (portfolio with before/after examples required).
• Proficiency in Lightroom and Photoshop. Experience with AI-assisted editing tools is a plus.
• Strong skills in object removal, sky replacement, color correction, and vertical/horizontal straightening.
• Understanding of professional real estate photography standards.
• Good written English for clear internal communication.
• Reliable internet (minimum 25 Mbps), equipment, and stable availability for overnight shifts.
What We Provide:
• Consistent, on-time bi-weekly payments via Gusto.
• A clear QC checklist and editing guidelines so you always know the standard.
• AI-assisted editing tools integrated into the workflow to support your speed and efficiency.
• Long-term stability with a growing company.
• Growth opportunities as we scale.
Hiring Process:
We value results over resumes. Our hiring process includes a timed practical test where you will be given 3–5 AI-edited photo sets and asked to polish and finalize them within a set timeframe. This tells us more than any portfolio alone.
How to Apply:
Please include the following in your application:
1. A short introduction about yourself.
2. Your experience with real estate photo editing (years, volume, types of properties).
3. A link to your portfolio (before/after examples strongly preferred).
4. Your typical availability, time zone, and internet speed.
5. A brief explanation of what you personally look for when reviewing real estate photos for quality.
