JOB OVERVIEW

Virtual Assistant — Short-Form Content QA (Instagram Clips)

We’re hiring a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to handle Quality Assurance (QA) for short-form podcast clips before they go live on Instagram.

The Role
• Review ~5 short-form clips per day
• Clips are reviewed the evening before posting
• Ensure clips are ready-to-upload (RTU) for the Social Media Manager
• This is a daily responsibility — consistency and reliability matter

What You’ll Be Doing
• Review short-form clips inside Google Drive
• Check:
• Visual quality
• Audio clarity
• Subtitle accuracy (no typos or missing words)
• Brand alignment
• Correct folder placement and file naming
• Approve clips or flag issues clearly
• Rename files based on approval status
• Communicate approvals or fixes via Slack

QA Process (High Level)
• Clips are delivered to a dated folder for the next day’s posting
• You review all clips during the assigned QA window
• Each clip must be marked as:
• ? Approved (RTU)
• ? Needs Fix
• Approved clips are ready for posting with no follow-ups
• Any issues must be clearly documented for editors

The folder is the single source of truth.

• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable reviewing video and subtitles
• Organized and process-driven
• Able to follow naming conventions and SOPs exactly
• Reliable with daily deadlines
• Comfortable using Google Drive and Slack

Nice to Have
• Experience with social media or content QA
• Familiarity with short-form video (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
• Experience working with editors or content teams
