JOB OVERVIEW

Establishes inspection protocols, defines sampling procedures, and determines equipment and tools to be used in the testing process.

Recommend changes in specifications of materials, parts, and products based on inspection results.

Formulate and revise quality control policies and procedures.

Working tea ---------- mber that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team in regards on quality related issues.

Suggesting improvements to the process is a knowledge resource for another tea ---------- mber.

Generate report for Quality Control Findings, CPAR or NCR.

Assist in the coordination of testing results involving finished products, raw materials, and packaging components and the appropriate release and hold programs associated with these materials

Oversee the “On Hold” product program, including the status, release, and destruction of “Rejected” products.

Assist in investigating and correcting quality-related issues (including customer complaints) through collaboration with other departments.

Make proactive recommendations and offering/presenting solutions to Quality Systems Management to improve quality and work efficiency

Share knowledge, skills and information with other personnel in the Quality Systems and across functional areas.

Assist in the implementation of policies, operating procedures, quality systems and programs which ensure proper testing, evaluation, inspection, and technical support in order to meet product quality standards.

Develops, reviews and approves procedures, forms, and instructions within the QMS

Oversee the documentation of data obtained during all quality activities consistent with company policies and procedures.

Establish working relationships with Manufacturing, Engineering, Production Control, Marketing, and Purchasing to maintain quality throughout the ordering and manufacturing cycle and to minimize the potential for non-conforming parts. Identifies areas in need of method modification and staff training.

Provides interpretive support of customer drawings, specifications and regulations assuring that process operators have a clear understanding of appropriate customer requirements

Write and revise Quality Control measure, forms, specification, visual aids, and SOPs as required.

Acts as supervisor to tea ---------- mbers to meet schedules and resolve quality problems.

Develops testing schedule for raw materials based on production requirements, ongoing and finished products for marketing needs and stability samples to provide annual reports.

Monitoring performance and quality of personnel, processes, and methods on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with documented procedures and regulatory requirements.

Internal Product/process validation testing.

Determine if production outputs are within specifications.

Work and resolve and prevent customer complaints.

Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

Interviewing new employee candidates and making recommendations for hire

Assuring that appropriate training is scheduled and performed

Appraising performance of direct reports, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems

Report unethical practices and safety related concern.

Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate superior and participate in other departmental activities as deemed necessary.

Generate or report for daily activities or assigned task progress.
