Chris Corzo Injury Attorneys is hiring a steady, detail-driven Accountant who prefers defined routines and measurable completion—daily checklists, weekly reconciliation cadence, and a reliable monthly close. This role is for someone who genuinely enjoys:
• reconciling accounts until they’re clean and provable
• building repeatable checklists + SOPs
• operating on a steady daily/weekly/monthly cadence
• keeping financial work audit-ready, not “close enough”
Important: This job is 100% synchronous with our team in US Central Time (not async).

What You’ll Own (Core Responsibilities)
1) Trust Fund and Case Accounting (Top Priority)
• Maintain precise trust activity (deposits, disbursements, balances) with documentation that matches approvals
• Ensure case-level accounting ties out cleanly (no mystery variances)
• Keep records compliance-minded and ready for review at any time
2) Employee Payroll & Benefits Support
• Execute payroll accurately and on schedule
• Maintain payroll/benefits documentation and coordinate updates as needed
• Reconcile payroll-related accounts and ensure correct coding
3) Reconciliations (6 Accounts + Credit Cards)
• Perform reconciliations on a consistent cadence (weekly/monthly as assigned)
• Identify discrepancies quickly, resolve cleanly, and document the fix
• Maintain reconciliation proof and organized backup
4) Detailed Forecasting + Participation on BI Team
• Provide reliable forecasting inputs with clear assumptions
• Support BI reporting with accurate source data and consistent definitions
• Help leadership see what’s true now and what’s coming next
5) Build and Maintain Finance SOPs
• Create SOPs that are usable, clear, and repeatable
• Improve workflows for speed, accuracy, and internal controls
• Keep processes consistent as volume increases

Requirements
• 3–5 years accounting experience
• Strong reconciliation habits and high attention to detail
• Comfortable building SOPs while continuing execution
• Able to work 50+ hours/week when needed
• Able to work 100% synchronous Central Time

Compensation
$26,000 – $45,000/year, based on experience and demonstrated performance.
