We are looking for a Mid-Level QA Engineer with strong manual testing experience to join our team and help ensure the quality, usability, and reliability of our web-based products.
This role is ideal for someone with 3–5 years of QA experience, particularly within a web development agency, SaaS company, or fast-paced product environment.
We are looking for a QA professional who goes beyond simply following test cases. You should be naturally curious, able to think like a real user, identify edge cases and unexpected behaviors, and proactively raise issues and improvements before they reach customers.
As our QA workflow continues to evolve, you will also be expected to work comfortably with AI-assisted testing tools and modern QA practices. Automation experience is not required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manual & Exploratory Testing
• Perform comprehensive manual testing of web applications and features.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify unexpected behaviors, usability issues, and edge cases.
• Test beyond the expected "happy path" to identify scenarios that may not have been considered during development.
• Validate new features, bug fixes, integrations, workflows, and system changes.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable after updates.
• Test across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
• Identify issues from both a functional and user-experience perspective.
2. Web & Mobile Application Testing
• Test responsive web applications across desktop, tablet, and mobile environments.
• Participate in testing upcoming mobile applications and mobile-specific workflows.
• Validate functionality across different devices, browsers, operating systems, and screen sizes.
• Identify UI inconsistencies, usability concerns, navigation issues, and device-specific problems.
3. Test Planning & Quality Assurance
• Review requirements, specifications, designs, and user stories to identify potential testing risks.
• Create and maintain test scenarios, test cases, checklists, and testing documentation where appropriate.
• Determine what areas require deeper testing based on the complexity and risk of a change.
• Conduct regression testing before releases.
• Verify reported bugs and confirm fixes.
• Help establish practical QA standards and processes as the team continues to improve its development workflow.
4. Bug Identification & Reporting
• Identify, document, prioritize, and communicate software defects clearly.
• Provide detailed reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, and supporting evidence.
• Work closely with developers to investigate and resolve issues.
• Retest fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved before release.
• Distinguish between critical defects, functional issues, usability concerns, and minor improvements.
5. AI-Assisted QA
• Use AI tools to improve testing efficiency, test coverage, documentation, and analysis.
• Be open to incorporating AI into day-to-day QA workflows.
• Work alongside emerging AI-assisted and Playwright-based testing processes.
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve testing without compromising quality or critical thinking.
• Maintain ownership of QA decisions rather than relying blindly on automated or AI-generated results.
6. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
• Work closely with developers, product stakeholders, and other team members throughout the development lifecycle.
• Communicate issues and risks clearly and constructively.
• Ask questions when requirements or expected behavior are unclear.
• Proactively suggest improvements to product quality, testing processes, and user experience.
• Follow through on identified issues until they are appropriately resolved.
• Contribute to a collaborative, communicative, and quality-focused team environment.

• Experience testing responsive web applications across different devices and screen sizes.
• Strong ability to identify edge cases and unexpected user scenarios.
• Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the overall user experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage testing priorities with limited supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with developers and other technical team members.
