JOB OVERVIEW

Hi, I’m Terry! I run a small but growing team at the U.S.-based temporary housing provider Invested Escapes, which helps families relocate while their homes are being repaired after damage (fires, floods, etc.).

I’m building out a long-term team to help me efficiently handle more leads and ultimately help more families. This role has growth potential and longevity for the right person.

--- What You’ll Do --

- source suitable rental properties across platforms (Furnished Finder, Zillow, etc.)
- contact landlords via calls*, texts, and platforms (i.e. Airbnb)
- confirm availability, pricing, and key details while addressing landlord questions or objections
- think creatively / negotiate on terms to help deals work when terms don’t line up immediately
- accurately and consistently update team trackers with notes

*note: these are not cold sales calls. we contact landlords who WANT their properties to get rented. occasional objections (e.g., “Is this a scam?”) can come up, but most conversations are straightforward.

- strong admin and multitasking skills
- steady, strong internet connection
- responsive & reliable
- access to a quiet, distraction-free environment during work hours (for calls + efficient sourcing)
- personable, professional, and able to think on your feet & be persuasive, when needed
- available in 8-hour time blocks between ~8am–8pm PST
- able to switch “on” quickly when needed*

*claim volume can fluctuate BUT when a claim DOES comes in, I need someone who can respond and focus up quickly, as this work is all about speed (and accuracy).

--- Schedule & Pay ---

- fully remote
- 5 USD/hr, with bonuses and room for growth -- if an option you sent gets chosen, you get a $100 bonus per claim, no limit on # of claims!
- 6-8-hour shifts within an 8am–8pm PST window; overtime occasionally needed to complete active claims and will be compensated accordingly
- all hires will go through a 2-week trial period to ensure mutual good fit; we will assess your speed, reliability, negotiation skills and judgment
