Job Title:
Property Manager Assistant (Virtual)
About Us:
We are real estate investors and property managers based in the United States. We manage rental properties including single-family homes and multi-unit buildings. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to join our team long-term.
Role Overview:
You will help manage day-to-day property operations, coordinate with tenants and vendors, track payments, prepare notices, market properties for rent, assist with lease-ups, and support research projects for acquisitions and due diligence, among other responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to tenant inquiries via
Schedule showings and coordinate with leasing agents or TaskRabbit runners for on-site tasks
Monitor rent payments in Rentec Direct and prepare notices for delivery (late notices, compliance notices, rent demands, eviction notices)
Track maintenance requests and coordinate with vendors
Prepare and send lease agreements, renewals, and related documents
Assist with marketing vacant units (listing ads, updating online platforms, field inquiries)
Conduct property research as part of due diligence assistance, including:
Pulling tax assessor cards
Downloading GIS maps
Researching zoning details and ordinances
Collecting public records and property data for analysis
Maintain accurate records in our property management systems and spreadsheets
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience as a Property Management Virtual Assistant
Experience using Rentec Direct or similar property management software
Strong English communication skills (written and spoken, neutral accent preferred)
Professional phone manner and ability to follow scripts when needed
Solid experience handling property research and due diligence tasks
Highly organized, self-directed, and detail-focused
Reliable high-speed internet and backup power preferred
Work Hours:
Full-time: 40 hours/week
Must be available during US business hours 8-5pm (Eastern Time)
Compensation:
Starting Rate: $5–6/hour (depending on experience)
Bonuses: Performance-based incentives
