We are a growing real estate investment and management company seeking a Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in property management, AppFolio, is highly organized, detail-oriented, and can work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Proficient in Appfolio for tenant management
Proficient in Zillow,
Bill Pay & Rent Collection: Communicates with tenants to collect rent and pay bills (eventually)
Maintenance Coordination: Communicate with maintenance staff and vendors, assign and track work orders, and follow up to ensure timely completion.
Leasing Support: Help leasing assistants with any tenant interaction
Collections & Legal: Manage late payments, send notices, initiate eviction processes when necessary, and coordinate with legal/city officials as required.
Compliance & Communication: Maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and city officials, ensuring compliance with all property regulations.
Qualifications:
Required: Prior experience in property management or real estate operations.
Technical: Must have hands-on experience with AppFolio
Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
Ability to multitask and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
MUST HAVE RELIABLE INTERNET
Familiarity with New York State rental processes, including collections and eviction procedures, is a plus.
Know how to manage Google calendar, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and more
Work Setup:
Remote, full-time position (40+ hrs/week).
Must be available during U.S. business hours (EST). Potentially, seeking afterhours as well
