Join Our Innovative Team: Technology & Data Specialist
Are you a highly motivated and independent thinker with a passion for leveraging technology to drive efficiency and impact? Do you thrive on managing multiple projects, thinking critically, and innovating solutions? We are seeking an internal Technology and Data Expert to lead our efforts in optimizing business processes through affordable and effective technology.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in identifying and implementing cutting-edge solutions, tackling challenges within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, and collaborating directly with development teams to ensure our systems meet evolving needs, including form changes or logic enhancements. Exceptional communication skills are essential as you bridge the gap between technical solutions and organizational needs. While our IT Department manages network and hardware, this position is focused on software, system management, data, and user management.
What You'll Do:
Serve as the primary internal technical expert, advising on and leading the adoption of new technologies.
Proactively identify opportunities for technological innovation and automation to improve efficiency and service delivery.
Manage internal IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring solutions are cost-effective and align with organizational goals.
Act as the primary technical expert for Google Workspace administration, optimizing its features for enhanced organizational efficiency and collaboration.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, understanding the software we use, particularly those related to our EHR system, and serve as the liaison with external development teams as needed.
Create user guides to ensure all employees understand how we leverage technology.
You will be our data steward and conduct data analytics to identify trends, improve decision-making, and ensure data integrity.
Develop and implement an effective and cost-efficient ticketing system for multiple internal programs.
Who We're Looking For:
Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in leading internal IT initiatives, especially those focused on automation and innovation.
Google Workspace Mastery: Deep proficiency in Google Workspace administration and its application in a business environment.
Independent Problem-Solver: A strong track record of independently diagnosing and resolving complex technical challenges.
Data-Driven: Ability to utilize data analytics to inform decisions and drive improvements.
EHR Experience: Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and experience collaborating with development teams is highly desirable.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
Required to be proficient in English.
To help us understand your experience and approach, please provide detailed answers to the following questions with your application:
Our office is open Monday thru Friday 8a-5p Eastern Standard Time. What hours are you able to work during our business hours.
What is your primary motivation for seeking a new role at this time, and what factors are most important to you in choosing your next employer? What aspects of a position and workplace culture typically help keep you engaged and motivated long-term?
This role emphasizes using affordable technology to innovate and automate our business processes. Can you describe a past project where you successfully implemented a cost-effective technological solution that significantly improved efficiency or introduced a new capability?
Our organization heavily relies on Google Workspace. Please detail your specific experience with Google Workspace administration beyond basic user support, and how you've used its features to streamline operations or enhance collaboration within an organization.
We are looking for an independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills to address challenges, particularly with our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Can you walk us through a time you encountered a complex, ambiguous technical problem (ideally related to an EHR or similar critical system) and how you independently navigated it to a successful resolution?
A key initial project will be to find a way to create an effective and cost-efficient ticketing system for our multiple programs. What steps would you take to research, evaluate, and ultimately propose such a solution, keeping cost-effectiveness a top priority?
