JOB OVERVIEW

We are building a nationwide US auto transport lead-generation website on a custom Next.js stack. The project involves a brand designer, a web developer, a data specialist, content writers, a link builder, a Google Ads manager, and a reviews VA, coordinated by an SEO lead. The owner is hands-off and needs one person who owns the plan, tracks every task, and keeps everything moving.

Your job in one sentence: make sure every step of this project has an owner, a deadline, a status, and a paper trail — and that the owner never has to ask "where are we?"

What you'll do

Turn the master plan into a detailed project plan: phases, milestones, tasks, owners, deadlines, dependencies
Set up and run the project tracker (ClickUp, Notion, or Asana) — every deliverable lives there, nothing lives in chat only
Run the hiring pipeline: post jobs, collect applications, schedule interviews, manage test tasks, onboard new hires with briefs and access
Chase every freelancer for status, review deliverables against the brief, and flag delays before they become problems
Track budget vs. spend for every role and every month
Maintain the document library: brand kit, site spec, SEO spec, SOPs, contracts, logins (in a password manager, never in plain text)
Send a one-page written status report every Monday and a monthly budget/milestone summary
Run a 30-minute weekly team standup and a 30-minute monthly review with the owner
Keep a decision log so every choice made on the project is written down with the date and reason

Requirements

3+ years managing remote, multi-freelancer projects (website launches, marketing campaigns, or software builds)
You have set up and run a project tracker from scratch — show us one
Experience managing at least one website build with designers and developers
Strong written English; short, clear, structured updates
Organized to the point of obsession: you notice when a deadline slips by one day
Available 40 hours/week with at least 4 hours overlapping US Eastern time
Comfortable with delegated access only — the company owns all accounts

Nice to have

Basic SEO or digital marketing knowledge
Experience hiring on Upwork or OnlineJobs.ph
Familiarity with Figma, GitHub, and a headless CMS (you won't build, but you'll track)
