Are you looking for some part-time work (8-10 hours per week) that lets you use your organizational skills to help a growing agency run smoothly?
Aperture is hiring a part-time SEO & Marketing Project Manager.
Take advantage of an opportunity to work with our growing team in a role where you can make a real impact on how efficiently our agency operates, keeping contractors on track and deadlines on schedule.
BENEFITS:
-Make some extra money working with a positive, collaborative team.
-Sharpen your project management skills and gain experience you can use to grow your career.
-Make a real impact by keeping projects moving and helping the CEO / Head of Strategy stay on top of what matters each day.
-Be an early part of a growing team, with room to take on more responsibility as the company grows.
-Work in an environment that builds you up, not tears you down. We welcome questions and value clear communication.
-Open yourself to additional opportunities with other companies operated by the same person.
THIS IS PERFECT FOR YOU IF:
-You're organized and detail-oriented
-You enjoy setting due dates and making sure they get met
-You're comfortable checking in daily and holding people accountable, kindly but clearly
-You're a straight shooter who isn't afraid to flag issues or ask for clarification, and you expect the same from others
-You can work independently with minimal oversight once you know the workflow
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
Our Basecamp (daily from 6-8 AM CST, M-F):
-Monitor all tasks across Basecamp boards daily to track progress against due dates
-Follow up directly with contractors and writers on tasks in works, with an emphasis on tasks that are due within 3 days, at risk of being missed, or already overdue
-Confirm each completed task is ready for the next step in its workflow (e.g., scaffolded page ? writer, written draft ? review, approved content ? publish)
-Flag any task that needs CEO review or sign-off before it moves forward or goes live
-Escalate blockers immediately (e.g., a writer is stuck, a VA doesn't have what they need, a task is missing scaffolding/prompts)
-Keep Basecamp boards clean and current – update task statuses, due dates, and assignees as things move
-Deliver a brief written summary to the CEO by 8:15 AM CST each weekday, covering what's on track, what's at risk, and what needs his input or approval that day
Weekly client reports:
-Assemble weekly client reports in a shared doc, pulling together rank tracker updates, a list of completed work, and a general trajectory statement
-Submit the document with all weekly report drafts to the CEO for edits and approval
-Once approved, schedule the reports to send to clients Friday mornings via
Partner agency Basecamp (M/W/F):
-Check in Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on the partner agency's Basecamp boards (shared clients) to confirm tasks are entered and moving on schedule
REQUIREMENTS:
-Basecamp experience required
-SEO knowledge is a plus but not strictly required
-Strong written communication skills in English
-Reliable daily availability on weekdays
-Comfortable managing multiple contractors and tasks simultaneously
SCOPE & SALARY:
Scope: 8-10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with potential for increased hours as the company grows.
