Job Description
SRG is seeking a Project Manager with a heavy focus on Retail Operations in a multi-unit environment. This role will be primarily focused on managing Asana to steward marketing operations at the store-level, with a secondary focus on overseeing group and national-level programs. This role will own the structure, governance, and ongoing optimization of SRG’s project management flow from requests to proof of placement, ensuring our group and store-level workflows are intuitive, standardized where appropriate, and built for speed and transparency.
You will support a broad range of initiatives including employee onboarding/offboarding, paid media program tracking by geography, and developing workback schedules and assigning to appropriate staff to support our national-, group-, and local-level marketing campaigns. The Project Manager will serve as the connective tissue between marketing, operations, and store teams—turning plans into executable workstreams, and ensuring progress is visible and measurable. PMP certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
Asana Ownership, Governance & Optimization
- Serve as SRG’s primary Asana administrator/steward, owning workspace structure, permissions, and best-practice configuration.
- Design and continuously optimize project/board architecture across SRG (Group HQ + store-level boards) to improve: efficiency (less rework and fewer follow-ups), transparency (clear ownership and status visibility), accountability (deadlines, dependencies, and escalation paths)
- Establish and enforce workflow standards (naming conventions, intake requests, required fields, status definitions, tagging/fields, approval stages).
- Build and maintain templates for repeatable programs (campaign launches, store openings, paid media briefs, creative requests, local events, promotions).
Campaign & Program Project Management (Workbacks + Execution)
- Build and manage workback schedules for national and group-level marketing campaigns, ensuring timelines are realistic and dependencies are visible.
- Translate campaign objectives into scoped deliverables, owners, milestones, and timelines in Asana.
- Run project kickoffs, weekly status checks, and post-mortems; maintain action logs and decision tracking.
- Identify risks early, communicate tradeoffs, and drive resolution with stakeholders.
Store-Level Enablement & Scalable Coordination
- Ensure store teams have clear, lightweight project boards that support execution without creating administrative burden.
- Implement mechanisms for store-level visibility (what’s launching, when, and what’s needed from whom), including standardized reporting views.
- Support rollout and adoption of updated workflows, including documentation and training.
Paid Media Program Tracking (By Geography)
- Create and maintain Asana workflows to track paid media programs across multiple markets, including: campaign requests/intake, creative requirements and approvals, trafficking requirements and accountability checkpoints
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure accurate status reporting and timely execution.
Employee Onboarding & Offboarding Workflows
- Maintain and improve onboarding/offboarding project templates in Asana to ensure consistent, timely completion of tasks across HR, IT, marketing, and ops.
- Partner with People Ops to define required steps, owners, SLAs, SOPs, and compliance checkpoints.
Documentation, Training & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain SRG’s internal documentation for “how we work” in Asana (SOPs, templates, playbooks).
- Track recurring bottlenecks and implement solutions (automation rules, intake forms, improved briefs, clearer approval gates).

Qualifications
- 3+ years of project management experience in marketing, operations, or cross-functional program management.
- Demonstrated experience building and managing workflows in Asana (or comparable tool) with automation expertise.
- Strong ability to translate ambiguous requests into clear scopes, timelines, owners, and deliverables.
- Proven stakeholder management: comfortable coordinating across leadership, store teams, and external partners.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and consistent with follow-through.
- Experience supporting multi-unit retail and/or distributed field teams.
- Experience managing marketing calendars, integrated campaigns, or paid media workflows.
- Familiarity with Asana advanced features (rules, forms, custom fields, portfolios, workload, reporting dashboards).
- Comfort with process mapping and continuous improvement methods (lean thinking, SOP development)
- PMP certification is a plus.
